If you want something class competitive in autocross, you’re probably going to want to look at the recent years’ Nationals results and look at the top cars in various classes - https://www.scca.com/pages/solo-archives

If it can be a bit more general/track focused, get an 08-’13 Corvette Grand Sport. The LS3 is

The GT350 is great but also perhaps an unnecessary middle step in the lineup between the best of the GTs and the GT500.

I can’t imagine making this my criteria for a sports car.

They passed stupid a long time ago for me. I want a car that feels fast, not a car that IS fast, necessarily (and the modern definition of “fast” is ridiculous too).

The moderator should have a button to shut off someone’s mic when they’re speaking out of turn. Or their mics should just be off when it’s not their turn by default.

Good for you! Life is too short for boring vehicles.

I always thought the Sky was the better looking of the two.

I want to give the moderator one of the high-powered nerf ball guns. Then, if the moderator has to speak to you more than once, *thwack* all of America gets to watch you take a nerf ball to the forehead in real time.

100% aesthetics. I really dislike the nose of the Solstice for some reason. Some things I found out later is that the Sky also has a nicer top (extra layer of sound deadening material), and a slightly more forgiving suspension.
I do like the layout of the Solstice interior better though.

Neutral: CNN summed the debate up perfectly - one pundit literally called it a shitshow, another called it a hot mess inside a dumpster fire inside a trainwreck. And I think they undersold it. I can’t blame the moderator - the only way to control Trump would be to have a remotely controlled cattle prod up his ass.

Reverse: a horror movie about a haunted Little Bastard traveling the US, killing people who have its parts and reforming itself until it becomes whole could be a fun watch.

Just a friendly reminder to Honda designers that the Civic used to be a relatively clean, cohesive, compact 3-door design...

My tiny rwd convertible niche is filled, alas. I need to buy a house, but I have no big credit history (at 55 LOL) so I figured I’d finance a car. I’m down to Si, or if I have to, an base of base F150 or Transit Connect.  I’d 10000X rather have a Fit Si than a Civic Si if that was an option though.

somewhat less hideous than the current one, so I guess there is that.

frankly I think they lost the plot with the 2012 and now abandoning the Fit.

I really wish someone sold a modern 1981 civic 3 door.

Like the Element and the Ridgeline, all of the Crosstour owners I’ve talked to have loved their car. Honda was probably a decade ahead of its time with that car, and the market wouldn’t accept it.

I never got the hate for the Crosstour. It’s an Accord wagon with nice lines and a bit of a lift. It is probably comfy, useful, reliable, and reasonably priced. The first time I saw one, I thought it looked a hell of a lot nicer than most of the stuff in its market segment, plus hey, it’s a wagon! What the hell is

Looks like Honda started drug testing in the design department.

Dang, I get those mixed up sometimes.

All of the suggestions are bad and the people who made them should feel bad for suggesting them.
