Because you correct oversteer by backing off the gas if it’s power oversteer, or getting ON the gas a little bit, if it’s lift off or weight transfer based oversteer. All while countersteering enough, but not so much that you end up in a tank slapper.

So... could that out-accelerate your Changli, or no?

Jason I adore you and this blog but if I have to use the percent sign at work now, it is your turn to use “mph.”

I was hesitant to start such a long article while I’m still at work but once I started I couldn’t put it down. Fantastic read, I could talk to Murray all day. We’d likely have almost nothing in common, but it makes me wish all my cars were lighter and stiffer.

Transcribing a 1-hour interview is about as close to back-breaking work as this job gets. I hope you all like it.

The funny thing is that if people actually cared to get to know their neighbors, they’d be OK with stuff like this.

“No nannies”??? That thing has electric lights! And seatbelts! And doors! And brakes on all four wheels!

It’s hard to beat a Honda Fit sport. They handle well, have a ton of room. Miata quick. Available 6 speed.

thanks for the nightmare fuel

It’s a textbook OE play. Offer the MT, but not in all trims or with all engines (and normally only with the shittier of the choices). No one buys it. Then shrug shoulders and say - well that take rate is terrible, that was dumb, we won’t do that again.

I sort of expect to see some weird ad with Jason’s face on it

He hired a stuntman to deliberately crash that car. He is known to have done a few fakes in the past, like pretending to have connected his aventador to some xbox controllers to play forza.
He’s wearing a red short for the whole thing, but the inside shot when the car crash, whoever is driving wears a black

Those weren’t experiments. Those are the baseline.

I wanted an AZ-1 SO bad, but ultimately my height prevented me from achieving this dream.

At 6'4" I fit in the Beat though! Such a fun car to drive.
