I love seltzer and I have a soda stream but I despise flavored seltzer for the reasons you describe (robotic fruit lol). Adding alcohol to the mix just sounds like some kind of canned cooler from hell, like a millennial version of those Smirnoff Ice abominations that were everywhere 20 years ago.

Living for this. I live in Vancouver and I work in film so I’ve ended crewing on a few Hallmarks this year. Here are some things I learned:
As a Strong Woman who lives in a Small Town there aren’t any Hot Farmers at all. All I’ve got is is one (married) skeezy guy who overcharges me for lawn care and a bunch of Olds either on tractors or Jazzy Scooters.
Yup! And many live in *wealthy* areas where you’d never expect hunger.
But even then people in line can be complete assholes. The people who use SNAP and WIC know what’s what and so do the cashiers, so the customer usually pre-sorts and there are two transactions, one with a card and one with cash.
The same people who look down on WIC and SNAP being used in the grocery stores are rocking Support The Troops bumper stickers on their cars not realizing that active duty military are paid so poorly that they are qualifying for WIC and SNAP at higher rates than “those people” who are getting it now...fucking heartless…
The majority of the WIC cards at our local grocery are used by young MILITARY families. What a disgrace that as a country the pay of our bravest doesn’t put food on the table for families.
