Meanwhile the postal service will be hobbled with absurdly expensive, absurdly inefficient gas guzzlers thanks to Donald Trump’s incompetent Postmaster General.
Amazon’s investment into Rivian for these trucks literally saved the company from going under before they produced a single R1T.
I’m going to say NP simply because it appears to be a nicely maintained r107 for under $10k. But some of the custom items take away from the appeal. The flush headlamps don’t look good. Even europeans preferred the round US headlamps. If he changed anything, he should have swapped the front and rear bumpers to euro…
No Dice. This is one of those “Buy the best car you can afford situations:” because the best car is not that much more expensive. I think almost anyone who has only $7k to spend on a car probably won’t want to spend it on an ugly-looking R107. And anyone who wants an R107 in their life can go $12-ish with some…
Yep, looks like the Journey came out in 2009 and never got an update. The first gen Highlander ended in ‘07, so a bit closer with the second gen, but the second gen costs a bit more. I have a first gen Hybrid with 277k miles on it and it is has been quite the rock-solid vehicle. First gen you can get the AWD V6 with…
Came here to say pretty much the same thing. These things are noisy, cheaply made, not very comfortable, and as unexciting to drive as watching paint dry. I’m am utterly amazed at how many of these I see on the road because they are so crappy. The fact that this one made it to 150K miles and hasn’t fallen apart, yet,…
A relatively modern 7-seater with a four-figure price tag is a fantastic deal in today’s market. There’s nothing spectacular about the Journey, and it’s priced accordingly.
I would look as hard as humanly possible to not spend almost $7k on a 7 year old Dodge with almost 150k miles. That just sounds like a terrible decision.
This vehicle is probably better off without AWD. That 2.4L engine is already hauling a lot of weight for its modest power output. I doubt that it really gets 28mpg highway with an over stressed engine running through a 4 speed transmission.
I cant believe we’re in a world where $7K is now a “beater”. That used to be the $1-2K range.....
Starred for the ability to use “nothing” as a verb in commendably reasonable fashion. A thoroughly cromulent assessment of this vehicle.
I have no opinion on this vehicle, good or bad. I nothing this vehicle. Having been fortunate enough in life to have have to purchase and operate vehicles that don’t elicit an opinion out of me, I’m going with ND.
If you are a man (or woman) of modest means who needs transportation, and lives in an area where all wheel drive gets you through the winter, why not?
...as far as we know.
“Hey, sorry, I lied and lied until I could no longer somewhat credibly lie. Who among us hasn’t tried to ban drags shows while also jerking a dick offat an all ages musical? Glass houses, y’all...”
BE GONE VILE MAN! BE GONE FROM ME!
Yep. That $24,500 is simply a down payment that allows you to take on the continual wallet-drain of keeping this beast running.
100% ND. Even at half the price, ND. At around $5,000 it might be interesting, but not to me.
Willing to ship it! Of course, it will take too long to get there on its own.
But if you know how to turn a wrench and work on diesels, you’ll never be bored. You’ll also likely not spend much time driving it, as you’ll be using the aforementioned skills pretty much constantly.
