Dammit!! If you have to be stuck there you might as well have a NICU. Well, I can tell you my hospital births were perfectly nice. The Dr. only came in last minute. They didn’t want me checked a whole lot to avoid infection, so I was not messed with. Once I got the epidural I was relaxed, was allowed water, etc. I

Same, but I got my needle with both kids. It was so, so good. Suddenly I can relax, have a chat with the nurse! Drink of water. Good times. I had a walking epidural and then switched over. I highly recommend.

So, I had my kids at the hospital, no other option would work for me, since I tend to be risk adverse and freak out. (though I have a dear friend who had both her kids at home with no issues) Both of my pregnancy’s were standard, and the births were straight forward, however my 21 month old had a pneumothorax (hole in

wait.... what??? Seriously? I’m and old, so what? I need to try this. Questions, does the app have to be open? Does the phone have to be super close to you? What about Alexa or the Dot, are these things listening and sending adds?

I don’t know anything about this app, my youngest is almost two... what is tracked during the pregnancy? I couldn’t even comprehend tracking while pregnant, but I’m an old, it just seemed like one more thing to do. When I was trying to get pregnant i used ovulation sticks, no need to track anything other than which

This is my thing. EVERYTHING eventually looks dated. While the grey walls and farm sinks are light in color, won’t they eventually look as dated as orange and avocado green? This is why people need to do their houses with what they like, not what will sell. And, we need to think about what we like, and why we like it.

Maybe. I’ve always been a wino. I continued drinking (other than pregnancy) the same amount I did before I had kids. On weekends after 5. If any of the mom culture is encouraging people to drink who didn’t before, I think that’s huge. My guess is that it’s also the fact that a lot of moms do what I do, they just keep

I’m a mother of a 5 year old and a 21 month old. I have very decidedly never looked at pinterest. Maybe it’s because I was older when I had my kids (i’m very near 40) and I had and still have a very established career, that I didn’t think and still don’t think in those terms. In other words, I could honestly give a

No! You should not have to warn, it’s just that once I became a mother, I became a pansy about stuff like this. I was fortunate to live in a universe where I could pretend parents weren’t this shitty, though I know intellectually that is not true.

I’m a mother of a 5 year old and 21 month old. I’m so sorry! This story made me tear up!

Yep. I wish I still did this law, I’d take his case pro bono. But, he probably gets money as well. They don’t want to compromise their cash cow. He really is the only one who probably has the ability to stop it, since youtube apparently won’t take any action.

yes, if you talk in a soothing voice and turn pages....

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again, who in gods sake are the people who follow these people? Who gives them money? I’ve watched some weird youtube (I’m one of those weirdos who gets ASMR and the videos help me sleep) but other than that, I can’t possible fathom watching these people. How? Why? Are people so bored

YES! I don’t know what my deal is, but out of the shower, unless it’s freezing, i’m still a bit damp. I don’t have time for this shite. team red.

I totally agree. If you are wearing your bra correctly, so snug band, and the straps snug up, spinning it around would be tough. In the process, I’m guessing the band would get way more stretched out. No wonder people go through bras so fast! After reading lingerie blogs that recommend replacing every 8 months, I was

You just feel. LIke, you know what row you want to use, so you get the first hook, then you line it up. I’ve had to do the blue method one time with a sports bra that was weird, if you wear it tight enough (especially underwire) its hard to spin it around the rib cage....

I don’t understand!!!! I’ve never known anyone who does the blue method. I’ve never done that, my mother didn’t, my mom. I started wearing the bra at 12, and she taught me and that’s it. Even my 3 hooks ones. I”m pretty chesty.

I don’t even understand how anyone could put it on the other way. I did it exactly once with this stupid new fangled sports bra that had some stupid hook situation. It sucks. All my regular bras are put on the correct way.

But, why???

So I’m almost 40 and other than like, fine down hair that all humans have, i’ve never seen this on myself. Even after two kids. Are we talking about like, visible hairs?
