OMG barking hour. So, so true. So, so annoying.

Mine is the same. She’s a corgi. So, after 5 minutes outside, when we’ve determined she will continue barking, because the neighbors have deigned to use their yard, we bring her in. Then she barks at every tiny noise she thinks she hears from the front of the house. She’s getting worse, we’re thinking doggy cannabis.

I agree as well. Honestly, these kids live in such a sheltered bullshit world, and this is probably the first time they have actually encountered it. This is the opportunity these kids now have to have a real conversation with their parents, a reckoning really. Had this not happened, they may never have seen it.

Exactly. My mother makes fun of my “lawyer voice.” It’s a thing. What this woman was doing is completely batshit and sounded so weird.

My office wouldn’t schedule me until 10 weeks. the second one, 8, because I was old. It’s like, 10 weeks, if you miscarry before that, come in. But, you know, I’m in CA. So, we’re all a bunch of embryo killing heathens. Not to mention, in CA anyway, you can’t even get an abortion until 6 weeks. I’m like you, so I knew

Also, are these kids going to be kicked out of their schools? I don’t see any other option. For the ones who were not involved, I feel bad for them, but if they, or their parents don’t learn the actual consequences, nothing will ever change. For the ones who really didn’t know, I hope this incident, and getting kicked

Felicity Huffman’s daughter was academically enough inclined that she knew her kid would want to take the test a second time to see if she could do better. So the arrangement was she take it once, then the second time would be at a different location, for whatever reason (you can feed a naive 17 year old any story

I want to believe this kid is for real. His family absolutely didn’t want any statements released, and he did it anyway. I can see through his statement that he feels ashamed. And I hope he can actually do what he wants to do now. I’m sure his parents don’t even know what that is.

I’m pushing 40 and when having lunch with a friend the other day, I talked to her about how she has so many friends, and I don’t. She and I aren’t that close, I’d like to be closer, but she’s one of these women (also 40) who has a ton of really, really close friends, she doesn’t have time for more. Some from

I’m a person who has never given her much thought, other than “interesting to be famous for nothing” but I love this! It’s fantastic that she’s decided she needs to do more, that her wealth needs to go to something. Kind of like Bethany Frankel and the work she’s done for disaster relief. I think the some of the idle

So now, does she get kicked out? Her entire application (it appears) was based on fraud. Had she not been a “crew recruit” would her application even have been looked at? Given that she clearly didn’t want to go in the first place, she probably won’t mind. But she has to go.

Lock em up.

But then I wonder, how many of these kids could have easily gotten into a “regular” college, and would have no issue doing so. How many of them, if any, are so embarrassed and sad that their parents thought they were so dumb they had to cheat for them. Are any of these parents going to do jail time? If so, how does

“they think that’s how it works because their parents have been making all sorts of things happen for them their whole lives.”

I couldn’t even see mine. He looked like a gummy bear, kinda. Really, he looked like nothing. I only knew he was there because the doctor insisted!

My doctors office wouldn’t see me until 10 weeks, they let me come in at 9 with my second because I was old. Basically, so many early pregnancies result in miscarriage, they don’t want to set up a prenatal that early. If you do experience a miscarriage, they’ll see you, but the philosophy is either, 1) come in at 10

I have such sympathy for Lee’s family, but your comparison is apt. I understand that the Knox affair was so traumatic for Kircher’s family, but I was frustrated by their insistence that she had something to do with it. The circus/tabloid atmosphere was gross, irrespective of her guilt (that alone would be upsetting)

exactly. And, i hate to be a total ass, but why not hire white guys!! He knew that any black men accused by him would get such different treatment than if they were white people. Either way, if he had sat back and let any innocent people get in trouble for this stunt, that’s heinous, but don’t put two black men in

My husband does this kind of law and its pretty heartbreaking. He’s seen some dysfunctional shit. It’s sad because Luanne’s kids seem to have always gotten along well with her, it’s probably the last thing they wanted to do.

I actually feel bad for her kids. I’m thinking that suing was the last option. She seems to have a good relationship with her, so I’m sure they didn’t want to sue her. But if she refused to put the funds in trust after asking, they had no choice.
