“Willow was doing all these things, about to have record label deals at like the age of 6, and I was like, ‘I feel like I’m underachieving.’”
As an adult with ASD, thank you for loving your child for who she is. I mean it.
Fuck this asshole. My daughter is autistic. She has been autistic since she was born. I knew there was something different long before she got the MMR vaccine. My daughter being autistic is just who she is. She sees and processed the world differently. That’s okay. I wouldn’t change her even if I could. To me it…
I am with you. I believe in aliens. I just don’t believe that they are here prodding hillbillies anally and then letting them live to tell the tale. If any alien has the technology to travel here, they’d also be smart enough to just kill any test subject.
I was gonna say: I keep frozen OJ concentrate in my freezer for impromptu mimosas.
Not from concentrate isn’t real oj either. Flavor has to be added back in after the juice is sterilized. https://consumerist.com/2011/07/29/oj-…
I can deal with plot holes and shortcuts. But the fact that Naz didn’t have a drop of blood on him and NOBODY MENTIONED IT, drove me mad.
She’s only 10 years older than Riz Ahmed, the actor who played Naz! By the way, can we talk about how great he was in this? He was all wide eyed terror in the first episode and by the end, his stare down of his former friend in that restaurant/bodega was chilling. Great stuff.
On balance, I liked the show, but one of the big problems was that there was never a sense of how much time was passing. It’s not unusual for trials to take place years after the initial arrest — was he at Rikers for eighteen months? Three weeks? I have no idea, but it was unclear enough that some of his decisions…
It seems like the cat was the only one who got out of this better than when it started.
I WAS HEAVILY INVESTED IN THE CAT and cried tears of relief that he went back for it!! <3
RIZ AHMED. OHMYGOD.
For better or worse (for worse, let’s be honest), that is exactly what we were taught.
Either way I suppose it doesn’t matter, other than making me feel better.
She captured the attention (and hearts) of every teen who didn’t feel normal enough in She’s All That, Can’t Hardly Wait, and The Faculty, and maintained that always-captivating presence on the periphery in movies like Girl Interrupted, Identity, and the 2012 Oscar winner for Best Picture, Argo.
Doesn’t matter.
LOVE that they have a picture together.
So they just like....showed us the entire movie in 2 minutes. Like, all the creepiest parts. Now I don’t have to waste $10 bucks to see it in theatres.
Though I will admit, the original did scare the crap out of me. That and the Grudge. I literally cannot watch that movie without wanting to die. My family likes to bug…
“The Ring” was good. This movie looks like some bullshit.
