“you’re supporting a less noxious version of George Wallace in Hillary but you clearly have no shame”

When a candidate gets millions more votes than the other candidate, that is by definition, “more popular”.

The system needs work, and Bernie is an ideologue who will shut down the government to get his way-like the Tea Partiers. Hillary has a history of getting stuff done-not that Bernie supporters seem to even admit such a thing. And yes, I’m in a different position: I’m trans, and a lesbian to boot. Losing to the GOP

So you expect all down ticket candidates for the US House and Senate, for state and local races, to magically raise money like Bernie or lose to the republicans? How? Do Bernie unicorns fart money? Unless and until the campaign finance system is totally overhauled, you are basically demanding that all democratic

This sort of information is pointless at this point in the election cycle-we’re nowhere near the general and Bernie hasn’t faced any attacks from the Right. But, sure, let’s play the favorability game: Ted Cruz and Trump are even worse. So, you can blow that bullshit out your ass for all I care-Hillary is still

Bernie running as a democrat was the most intellectually dishonest thing he’s ever done. It’s basically using the democratic machine for his own ends but not willing to reciprocate in the least.

“Many people allege”? You mean Sanders supporters? Superdelegates support Hillary Clinton because they are democrats and so is she. Sanders is not a democrat. He doesn’t give a damn about the democratic party. His supporters talk about burning the democratic party to the ground and starting over. This is not what

He really is showing his white, male savior card in this race. “I have the answer, I will save this country.” Yeah, these hundreds, possibly thousands, of candidates and their staff didn’t think of bettering the lives of Americans...

He could have run as an independent. He is one, after all. But I love the entitled attitude that he should get the party’s support, even as he bashes them for being “establishment”.

Do you understand that these “smaller” races are the ones where the Koch bros will suddenly throw $180k in the last 2 weeks before election day? They rely on these sort of fundraisers to fight it off, which is becoming a huge problem for states that have lost their legislatures to the extreme right. See Wisconsin,

No, that’s crap. The entire thing is really clear. She gets a small amount. The DNC takes their share. The rest goes to different races in different states. You are now officially making things up.

But, it’s not. It is literally for the down ticket candidates. They are supposed to do this. Don’t you want to see Bernie’s big revolution happen? It can’t happen without other progressives voting in favor of his ideas.

I think Bernie has a lot of good qualities, and I generally am more ideologically aligned with him than with Hillary, but this is one of those things that makes me wonder about his ability to achieve his goals when in office (or, the cynic in me says, his desire to do so).

This is why his super delegate count is embarrassing. He’s been a democrat for like 20 minutes and hasn’t helped anyone and he needs to help other democrats win their races.

I have an opinion other than yours about Hillary, boo fucking hoo. Just because I don't think your golden calf is the Second Coming doesn't mean I'm ok with corporations buying favor with our government. And I settle because I think Bernie will lose, hard. And, I'm not in a position where I can afford to live in a

Yup, and least we forget the ability of either Clinton or Sanders to advance their agenda hinges on enough down-ballot victories to flip the Senate (which is going to be difficult but not unimaginable) and making serious gains in the House. I know this doesn’t mean shit to Sanders and a good chunk of his supporters

We have the votes. You might notice that Hillary still has the majority of them? That's because she's still more popular-with average people-than Bernie. All that is beside the point, though. Bernie isn't funding down-ticket races. His candidacy in the general would cripple the Democratic Party in the general. If he

It may be Bernie’s biggest mistake was running as a democrat.

You mean that people from local races are more likely to support the person who is helping fund their campaign? The ignominy!

Seriously, he is shooting himself in the foot. If he really wants to be President, he wants those down ticket candidates in the House and Senate. He won’t get anything done without more support in legislative branch.
