Intakes beside/behind where your head is that feed the flux capacitor?

To those of you who received honors, awards, and distinctions, I say, well done. And to the C students I say, you, too, can be President of the United States.

No, don’t bring it back! We finally banished it and now he wants to bring it back!?

It should have been replaced long ago. The reason why it wasn’t is the same reason why we have so many structurally deficient bridges in the U.S.: Money.

The lightning part really makes no sense, to be honest.

Italian news is reporting that the bridge was hit by a massive lighting bolt in a critical spot which caused it to snap.

Bridges, are complex engineering challenges. Things can happen even if maintained properly, though it rarely is the case that it causes complete failure. Time will tell on this one, I guess.

“Sequential Shifting” is an awful generous way to describe a 3-speed, transverse automatic that dates to the mid-70's Oldsmobile Toronado.

What do you mean? Vector “was the first manufacturer of high performance supercars and the inventor of this category of ultra high performance automobiles”, according to their 15 year old web page.

Yeah, park your cars in a flood zone and this is likely to happen.

Everyone repeat after me:

You may wonder: why did the Romans need to borrow a Celtic word for “wagon”? Didn’t they have a Latin word already?

Too bad James Cameron is so deep into production of the Avatar sequels. I would love to see the underwater footage of the “wreck” from his submersible.

The word “automobile” (sometimes hyphenated, sometimes not) was used in the 1880s and 1890s to describe guided torpedos, not cars. Here are a couple of screenshots of articles from the Chicago Tribune from back then...

Eh, it’s already one foot in to the grave. Gone are the interesting V8s, V10s and V12s. We have incredibly dull six pots with hybrids. Going all electric would just be the final step in a process that started four years ago.

I also heard from a developer who used to work at BMW that most of their cars now have their entire BUS systems exposed when one of the mirrors is smashed off.

The whole thing wasn’t written very well... and even the pedant in me forgives the author... simply because spreading scientific knowledge is something to be treasured (especially in these current climes.)

But this one, of course! (she’s not mine... I’m posting for a friend):

She’s going to drop her foundation and ruin that interior. Also, I assume this was a collaboration with Sephora.

Yeah that was it. 100%
