Diana DeGarmo is from (sort of) my area, and the frenzy surrounding her almost-win was something I’ll never forget. I got so caught up in that shit (I was like, 11 or something?).

I saw one of these Edison dolls on the Science Channel show “Oddities” and was promptly creeped out! I’m not easily rattled, but these dolls really are eerie.
