I’m once again slowly working my way through Hollow Knight. After some stress and strain, I finally beat the Mantis Lords, so now I get to travel through the confusing maze of tunnels that is DeepNest. I also beat the Broken Vessel and now the Forgotten Crossroads is a lot more...explodey. I may have crossed some plot

Salutations~!

Killer Queen Black sounds like such a cool game to try out with friends. 8 would be difficult but a solid 4 to 6 people should be possible if I ever get the chance.

I have been parsing over the rules for Feast of Legends since it was announced, and while inwardly I groan a little when the advertising comes on a little strong, it has been a pleasant read so far. It would be funny if the game caught on, and suddenly your local Wendy’s looked more akin to your friendly board game

Make sure to read as much of the instruction manual as you can, and this is definitely a game where everyone should read the text on their cards aloud when using them, including giving your best shot at pronouncing your character names and reading off their back stories at the beginning of the game.

Agreed 100%. That mid-credit stinger was the worst part of the whole experience by far. Everything else felt tonally in sync and perfect but that, just as you say, was superfluous and irksome.

I just started the God Of War reboot. Is the whole game just going to be Kratos punking his son nonstop? Because I'm 100% on board with that.

Yeah, I love Knights of the Old Republic more in spite of its mechanics than because of them, but I’m used to those mechanics thanks to my enduring love of Infinity Engine games.

It’s a shame how Ever Oasis came and went without getting much love, it’s super cute and charming and fun. Hopefully Nintendo gives it another shot on Switch someday.

Very little playing this week. The only thing I did was play through Episode 1 of Telltale Batman: The Enemy Within, since someone in another forum helpfully posted the link to getting that episode free on the Microsoft store last week.

I’m now most of the way through Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Subsistence. Just got my way through the section where Snake gets captured and am currently making my escape. I believe I am to face The Sorrow next.

Yeah, as a character Chloe is just a lot more present. BtS really has a beautiful arc of her still being in that child/teenager transition where she is rebelling but still has kiddy stuff on the walls and bed. Then in the final montage, we still “our” Chloe emerge.
The Tempest stuff was kinda lost on me (my only

So I finally finish The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine and now it is my duty to own, tease and make fun of people who watched and liked Game of Thrones (even those who tolerated Season 8) because of how superior The Witcher 3 is as high fantasy in comparison to Game of Thrones particularly in the later seasons.

I’m really glad you enjoyed Before the Storm overall and connected with its many unique virtues compared to its predecessor. A lot of people get letdown by the lack of supernaturally infused gameplay, but as with you I too was engrossed by the down-to-earth nature of BtS’s proceedings.

Indeed. The internet has forever been changed. We are now in A.G. internet time. After Goose. It’s Goose Memes all the way down for all time henceforth.

I’m glad to see Metal Goose Solid make its return. I read your post from last week a few days ago and it was a beaut! Seriously, I could see the images before my eyes.

everyone go play Grezzo’s wonderful remasters of OoT and Majora’s Mask for 3DS as well. Also check out Ever Oasis, their original game similar to Zelda which is also fantastic. I really love this studio.

I had quite a bit of fun with Link’s Awakening on release day. Huge fan of Link’s Awakening, and have long said that it’s not just one of the best Game Boy games; it’s one of the best Zelda games. I appreciate that they didn’t change the core game with the updates they made. Outside of graphical changes, it’s mostly ju

Been playing quite a bit of Axiom Verge. I love the Metroid series and this is a very strong “Metroidvania” type game, with a cool surreal art style and a lot of unique abilities. It does have one major flaw- the bosses all take way too many hits, even the easier ones linger long after you’ve figured out their

From Software is to busy rolling in the sweet Darksouls cash.
