Also, I never leave the house without Chapstick. I legit have 15 tubes scattered around my house at any given time. I’m sorry you don’t know the joy of having soft, protected-from-UV-rays lips, Chris Wallace.

Especially in Times Square. It’s got a barely concealed level of 24/7 crazy. Don’t tell the tourists ...
Jesus, this, next to terrorism, is my biggest fear in NYC. I always stand far back from the yellow line when the train is coming in and try to stand near a pillar (because I think that I could grab onto it. I probably couldn’t. But. You know).
He’s extremely chill! Thus his name. He was once called Sylvester, but my boyfriend and I tweaked it when we adopted him and got to know him. He’s on Insta if you’re interested: https://www.instagram.com/chillvestercat/
it depends on the center- there’s a lot that goes in to maintaining a center itself- rent, bills, food, cleaning (sanitation is extremely key, we have three different levels of bleach/water combo for different situations), maintaining functioning and safe equipment for the kids, toys etc. for small independent centers…
However, I also love on House Hunters, when they show the third house, which almost always ticks EVERY fucking thing that they are searching for but is just 5 minutes further away than they want- and you find out they end up picking the shittiest house out of the whole selection.
I’ve given up altogether, the only slim chance I’ll ever have at home ownership is inheritance.
Just to add: everyone has the power to dismiss! Anyone should feel free to dismiss trolls who reply directly to them.
Hi Jezzies! Sorry to post this here on SNS, but it must be done.
Happy fucking (almost) birthday to me. My work BFF has stage 4 melanoma and my BFF is moving away. My BFF and I don’t have much in common anymore but we’ve known each other since 3rd grade. All I can think of is I won’t have a local in case of emergency contact anymore.
I’m sick :( but my husband made carrot ginger soup from scratch, took care of the kids so I could sleep all afternoon, and is currently taking out all the garbage that has accumulated due to me being ill.
hi everyone!
Ever shop at Costco? There’s a reason why their workers are affable and content, they are paid a living wage with health care benefits. It shouldn’t be a difficult concept to grasp, but many retailers in America fall short.
I got fired for insufficient jolliness once. I remember, when I explained the reason for my termination to unemployment, the lady said, “Well, that one’s new.” Sadly, I don’t think it’s that new.
This is why I liked shopping in the UK— They have this reputation for poor customer service but really what it is is that the woman or man ringing you up doesn’t bother to pretend that they’re excited about it. That’s a lot more comfortable than forced pleasantries.
(Important to note that you can straight email them like Cocopop! said. It’s the same as the submission form. help@gawker.com You can also tweet, email, etc. Dismiss any responses from unknown people who don’t have full commenting histories going back a while positively. Like a real commenting history, not a few…
It would be a very helpful if no one ungreys any commenters for now, unless you:

Usually before I ungrey someone whose user name I don’t know, I check their comment history. Most often they are new users who have no followers and follow no one, though you can usually suss them out from their comment history regardless.
