Realizing your dad is never going to be a normal caring dad sucks. This was my realization this year. I agrees it is freeing but still hurts so much if I think about it too much. I wish there was a way to match nice seniors up with people who have shitty parents. Hugs from one orphan to another.

P.s. Not sure where you live but dyson is bringing out new models and I have seen last gen ones reduced at Costco and marshalls.

After years of using a Bissell held together with duct tape I splurged on a dyson v8 cordless. Best decision ever. It’s gross how much dust it picks up from carpets....but also fascinating.
