Lowkey, the first Zelda is a trash game. It’s boring and little to no fun at all. That said, if Nintendo had any balls at all they would hire the guy who was making the 8-Bit BoTW, and help him finish his excellent project. It really is Zelda 1, but good.

What you’re describing isn’t restarting the same game, it’s playing the same game in two different places. I’ve found that the Switch makes a LOT of games better simply by enabling both mobile play and very simple suspend and resume.
