The argument here is the intentional over-addition of ethanol, which serves no purpose other than satisfying a powerful lobbying interest. I would bet you knew that, and yet you still made this other argument, which is pretty off-topic all in all.

And if the ethanol lobby actually gave a cornfucked fuck about anything other than easy money and political influence, they’d focus their efforts on having more traditional plastics replaced with the corn-based alternatives.
