I'm torn over this.

Ya know… him leaving Winterfell gives Sansa a nice opening.

"Dorne" has been bugging me since it first popped up. Glad I'm not alone in that. Is their sigil on it? Nearly every other house's location included their sigil worked into the design?

Because the D&D don't care about the Iron Islands. :(

Tommen will call upon Ser Pounce for aid!

They recast her, forcing the original to find new employment. I don't think it's going well for her though.

Yeah, I figure this is a "like father, like daughter" situation and Bronn won't be returning for next season. :(

Or Sam the Slayer to his friends and admirers!

Nope. She could probably use one given how her own small council grew even smaller. =\

He's gotta see the writing on the wall and know he's the next to be shipped off somewhere. Wonder if he has anything to defend himself with?

Did it remind anyone else of the speech Tywin gave Tyrion a few seasons back? That one about how he wanted to drown him, but he didn't because he was his son and a Lannister…?

I thought it was common knowledge that the Frey's and Bolton's were involved with the Red Wedding. There was a scene between Tyrion and Tywin were they went over the benefit of keeping the Lannister involvement out of the public eye and letting everyone believe it was a Bolton/Frey plot instead.

"Time to move on."

That was a nice and disturbing touch. I wonder if they'll actually use the Winterfell set again though…?

In fairness her style kinda of matches her personality. She's about as subtle and indirect as a hammer to the face, so having her fight like this kind of fits.

Same here. You knew it was coming, but when the hammer finally dropped… wow. Chalky's death almost felt like another log on the fire at that point. I did enjoy how different they were though. The brutal suddenness and comedy surrounding Van Alden's versus the sad melancholy sense of inevitability of Chalky's.

I totally thought he was gonna snap the poor thing's neck. Glad they didn't go that route though, because watching him pat the dog was absolutely hilarious.

I've gotta agree with you on how the show looks. For my money it looks far cheaper than the previous seasons. The opening with the two ships chasing each other looked horrible. For a brief second, something about the way the ships moved had me wondering if they had actually used miniatures. Real let down visually.

Mace Tyrell's gonna lock things down, count it!

Yeah, that's pretty vague. Kind of feels like they dropped the ball there and should have played it up a bit more. Ah well.
