Was it ever mentioned this season? I know it was a big deal at the end of last season, but I can't recall Stannis ever mentioning it this year.

I don't think he's the most exciting or interesting character on the show, but I like his backstory and really loved the brief scenes we got of him with the rest of the Starks way back when. A lot of his story has felt clunky and made it feel like he's just kind of stumbling around, surviving through blind luck. Not

I'm with you with the Oberyn love. He didn't get as much screen time as Ned Stark, but what little he had was enough to really get us behind him. Shame he's gone as I'd love to find out more about him and his various adventures. Pedro Pascal will be missed.

Yeah, I love Oberyn but after seeing the preview for the next episode, I just keep thinking back to what the Hound said to Arya an episode or two ago.
