I think I agree. Probably you should lose your right to hurl a baseball in the direction of a batter if you can’t reliably keep it from hitting him in the head.

On one hand, this is clearly unintentional base on the speed, choice of pitch, the body language of the pitcher (dejected, staring at hand), the reaction of the catcher, the score and situation, etc. Ridiculous he was tossed out for throwing at someone.
“We’re not like that” except you were like that in April?
The whiny-ass fanboys will never shut up. They’re already in the comments on the Buzzfeed article.
I am pumped for this news for several reasons:
It will feature new exciting characters named Mark Startrotter and Lone Hand.
I’ll fully admit I just wanted to recollect underrated 90's gems.
I sincerely believe this is one of the very worst plays in baseball history.

It took me until late last year to watch the entirety of DS9. In the UK we didn’t get much of it upon release - I couldn’t afford the VHS tapes as they were produced -so what I saw of the first few episodes I didn’t like. TNG was where it was at for me at that point. I attended the ‘Captains’ DST event a few years…
Out here fighting amongst ourselves when it is entropy that is the real enemy.
I remember there were a lot of criticisms of DS9 in the media at the time. I think at one point during the original run TV Guide named it on a list as a disappointment at one point. It was also being criticized by some science fiction fans who wanted to make comparisons to Babylon 5 (and took JMS’s story of his ideas…
I think it had to do with Voyager being the flagship show of UPN versus DS9 being syndicated.
