But what about UCLA? That’s got a great rep around here too.

I think proximity dictates value. I live in SoCal, so it isn’t surprising that USC is held as the pillar of any university in this area since its competition is UCLA, UCSD, USD, SDSU, CSUN, CSULB & CSUCI, of which only one or two many people may have heard. But the same is true in many different regions. The Bay Area?

Well the specific crime in question isn’t that it’s unfair. The specific crime is fraud, with the university as the victim.

Half the time WIkileaks seems like they do good noble work; the other half they come across as glorified trolls. I dunno...

They appear to have captured The Mandarin.

Tim Duncan, too - born and raised in USVI.

Some fuckboi always mentions Hakeem but forgets the greatest:

Haven’t watched, won’t watch, this comment made me queasy.
Fffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

“Oh, sure, this time the officials are actually paying attention to what happened with the athlete’s legs.” - Auburn fans

DAMN.”

And he leaned toward the latter presumably because there needs to be some reason Luke would not have responded to sensing his sister’s despair—it was because he didn’t sense it. That’s why he didn’t even know Han died.

Yeah, when Rian came in, JJ had all these mystery boxes with NOTHING IN THEM. Rey’s parents, what’s the deal with Snoke, why Luke bugged out etc. On one hand, that gave him the freedom to do what felt right--Rey’s search for parents was really a search for meaning, Snoke actually sucks and Luke failed to live up to

I love TLJ, but my worries about IX mostly stem from the fact JJ is a hack.

Christ almighty, I wish Disney cared about having a coherent vision before going into the sequel trilogy. As it stands, this is like a comic book with a new creative team for each story arc.

All I know is Reymundo Mundo is an extremely fun name to say out loud.

Honestly, could be the movie’s tagline.

Tim Burton’s first Batman movie had a young Joker killing Thomas and Martha Wayne. People now assume it’s always been that way.

I have a raging hatred of villains always being tied to the hero somehow. Everyone who does it thinks they’re oh-so-clever when what they are is as unimaginative and as lazy as fuck.

I’m still not a fan of any definitive origin being applied to The Joker, but I’ll admit it looks a lot better than I thought I would.
