The service is going to include insurance? How the hell are they going to pull that off in terms of marketing and pricing?

Not a Fusion... Go to eBay and zoom in on used Fusion headlight assemblies, and you’ll see that the DOT marking are imprinted on the other edge.

Automatic? You’ve visited Jalopnik before, right?

So... what’s the other car under a cover, sitting on a nicely taped down tarp next to the Marauder?

The Focus ST can be had, brand new, for under $17k in my area. Hard to beat that with a stick.

The highway is already there, they’re “building” it in the sense that they’re adding 18 DC fast charging stations.

The way these things depreciate, I’d expect a 2-year old example to fetch nothing more than 1/2 the new price, so CP all day long on this one.

Are those black dots on the seats LATCH points?

And yet smokers are still allowed to serve, eh? Because we all know that healthcare costs for smokers are negligible.

I’ve never heard of such a law, can you cite any examples of states that prohibit one brewery from filling another’s growler?

Sounds great... but curious minds need to know: Is the glorious noise coming from the exhaust, like an old //M car, it is it coming from stereo speakers, like a new //M car?

Umm... math?

Tint laws in many states. In NY, front car windows cannot be tinted. This is to protect police officers, so they can see inside a car as they approach it. Trucks and SUVs, however, are allowed as much tint as they want. Because of course no criminal would ever drive a truck or SUV.

Why does the police officer drive away with his door wide open? Seems an odd, and dangerous, way to scan for debris, if that’s what he is doing.

If it’s so hard to make high octane gas, why the hell don’t more gas stations offer 91 octane? Isn’t that what virtually all cars that require “premium” gas actually need?

I know a few guys who use mid-grade: They fill 1/2 with 89 octane, and 1/2 with 93 octane, since their cars require 91 octane.

These will be a fun buy at CarMax in 3 years, when they’ll be $22k.

Did the announce the prices for the cars as well?

Yup. Autopilot alone -even in its present infancy - is HUGE.
