So by your logic, anyone who purchases pump gas for their boats, dirt bikes, snowmobiles, lawn mowers, etc. should all be getting rebates from the state, right?

Commuter trains have quite short stopping distances. I’d bet that the train had stopped, and was waiting for the Mustang to clear the tracks. Once clear, it proceeded, so not necessarily a close call.
