thank you for making it possible for me to reference this comment on kotaku’s fookbase almost 2 years later.

i would be really interested to read an article about exactly the “machine learning technology” is used to train these bot-catching efforts. like what is the logic behind it, etc.
strictly speaking, as of right now its not included in DSM-5 as a phobia.
if anyone is curios as to how the notion came about, and its current status in the scientific standards, this is a good primer:
it sounds like you value gaming over security of your financial data, personal communications/content/whatever else you store and use your machine for.
unless we are talking about a dedicated, gaming-only machine i think most people do not share you priorities.
“As long as it’s a father and a little brother whose penis can’t get hard that’s okay.”
in short
“male characters can be added as long as they are fathers or pre-pubescent boys.”
that’s really not much shorter.
“brief video check-in”
that is over an hour long..
o__O
is there no option to turn Music Off?
oh yeah. obviously i didn’t read your entire list because it was clearly rhetorical, but as i was scrolling away in noticed your claims of inclusion of music player, and films/tv
music player is absolute trash.
films/tv have been removed.
i didnt read through the rest but i bet the rest of it isnt accurate either.

i wrote this to another user in reply but i’ll repeat it here:
majority of those extra features took years to develop and many of them came about only a couple or so ago.
any store front trying to break into the filed has to catch up with it both financially and development resource wise. for any of that to be possible…
it offers them a way to buy the game, download it whenever needed, patch it when possible, and play it with friends who own the same game.
that’s the core of gaming. everything else you mentioned you can do with another app (and often enough much better than steams own offering).
you’re being hysterical on the basis of…
| Splitting hairs.
i read that article and i agree its great insight. however, it does not undo the points brought up with this article on kotaku. the anger generated now against Epic now is no different from the anger generated against Valve when it first rolled out Steam as its storefront. its remarkable how identical the detractor…
no one is buying out exclusivity. its merely renting it. its a temporary exclusive that immediately benefits the publisher by funneling more revenue through a cheaper storefront, and benefits the new storefront by attracting more shoppers that otherwise would have stuck to their previous storefronts. its a mere 6…
this will certainly sned a message to others wishing to fake records.
it sounds like the whole thing was set up by a guy, so no. just blame ‘edgy social experiment bros”
what exactly is ‘freefly in Tribes 2' to you?
light class sniper ski-to-jumpjet midair duels with head-shots was one of the most fun aspects to t2 gameplay.
it still is. t2 community is still around and somewhat active.
have you ever heard of star siege tribes 1 & 2 ? if not, imagine Quake-speed, jet pack zfps, with sniper rifle head-shots and spinfusor (comparable to pharahs slowish rockets) body shots. all the time.
direct hits are not that hard. especially when you’re mentally in the zone and playing on a whim.
as far as esports…
i feel like the law has noble origins. something like to protect naive artists when they are just starting out against people like motown swindlers.
from the description so far it sounds great. i don’t see this as a nerf.
so the next upgrade to the group finder could be to allow the “queen bee” to select the minimum requirements and avoid wasting every ones time of manual judgement
