Doesn’t surprise me at all. It’s a tiny stadium. The schedule comes out in April, and every Steeler/Packer/Viking etc fan in the vicinity of Southern California thinks “hey, my team will be here in October, possibly for the first time in years, let’s got to the game”.

Sounds like you could save money by switching to Cable, and get more programming by bundling instead of paying for all those services individually. I’m not being sarcastic, you’re actually becoming the caricature that we made up early on of how this would all end up full circle. Every entertainment org will create

“Look, like whatever team you like, but don’t disrespect the city! You gotta be better than that!”
- Some idiot on Philadelphia radio tomorrow, probably.

This shit still does not validate or excuse Roethlisberger, who is still a shitty human being and an awful teammate despite what his offensive linemen say. Brown is one of the few people in the world that makes Roethlisberger seem less shitty, that’s all.

The reporting has actually been pretty clear, the commentary hasn’t. Brown found newer models of that helmet, and told the league he’d wear one of those to abide by the ten-year rule. Then, and only then, the league tested that helmet model and put it on the banned list no matter the year it was made. Brady/Rodgers

Here’s what I don’t get: with everything at stake for everyone involved, why can’t we just get the world’s leading helmet designer and sit him in a room with AB and some safety guy from the league and custom design a helmet that everyone is happy with? This seems to be largely a dick measuring contest at this point,

I appreciate how this bold young man is calling Ross out on the mission of the charity. It’s like:

Yeah, other WYTS columns include jokes; this one is just a list of facts.

shut up

Drawing parallels with personal experience is a core way in which human beings relate to one another. I have not lived Doc’s life, only my own, but I empathize with struggles to kick addiction and be a better person in part because of my own experiences. They are, as I mentioned, not the same struggles Doc is having,

It’s just like my dad always says...

Bone hugs in harmony.

Incorrect. I know it because of my children. I hate it because of my functioning brain.

I’m not sure why, but he annoys me far more than Spike Lee ever did with the Knicks.

So, because she had a reasonable, likely correct take on one situation, your assumption is that she lacks the ability to provide a different, equally nuanced take if a different situation calls for it?

They could have fix that so easily by killing Rhaegal in this episode, which could have made far much sense. Imagine Dany and Drogon looking at their dead family member, say “fuck it” and start torching everything.

You’re an idiot. Conveniently you ignore all the women who were in power or major affectors of the power struggle. Cersei was the most powerful person in Westeros from the moment her father died. Dany was all female power. Arya slew the Night King. What more could you possibly want?

I want to talk more about this general counsel who thinks it’s a good idea to begin an email with “We are anxious to settle this matter.”

52 kids under him? I thought he was a Steeler, not a Cardinal.

Yeah, especially as they’ve confirmed that drugs and alcohol (and speeding) wasn’t involved. You can do everything you’re supposed to as a driver and still not be prepared for a pedestrian to appear in front of you on the highway.
