I know you guys are reliably anti-management and pro-player all the time, but taking Brown’s side on this one really takes some mental gymnastics

It’s not necessarily morality issues with smoking pot that kept the teams from drafting the guy. They have a legitimate concern that, given the rules in place by the league, their asset of a top pick could be wasted if the player chosen continues to smoke and gets suspended (see: Josh Gordon, Martavis Bryant, etc.).
