I agree with you whole-heartedly, but one of the Parents got all butt-hurt after-the-fact. Behind so many messed-up kids are messed-up parents.

Why isn't any one 'calling out' the parents? This is typical shitty behavior on a parent's behalf (not MY precious). The Mother made a big deal of it. Are we sparing criticism because of a female parent's behavior? BTW: I'm a female.
