I’m not sure what there is to celebrate here? A municipal government entered into a shady lease with a private group, the result of which is that tax payers will shell out at least half a billion dollars to repair something, the city will then again turn over to a shady private equity group.

Any VW with the two point slow. Other than the usual windows failing (I did a hand crank conversion on my Mk 3), they’re basically bulletproof. The 2.0 is overengineered to a ridiculous level.

The Alfa Giulia (and the Stelvio by default) have been far more reliable than many critics have assumed. Anyone I know that has purchased or leased them have been happy as hell with them and report no more issues than any other new car.

I defy anyone to explain what the modern day GOP has actually done for anyone other than cause hardship and suffering for people who aren’t rich, straight, white CEOs and the companies they run.  

Sure, ban this as a safety issue. But there are still tons of other more severe vehicle related safety issues that have caused numerous death daily (street racing, drunk driving, and etc.), yet I don’t see lawmakers going after those issues even if whatever laws currently in place clearly don’t work.

Yeah...even a hint to this glorious inexpensive city would be a great service to all.  In my town, that’s a $550k house, and just up the road in the big city, they’re over $1M.
