Frederick’s started toeing that line between regular lingerie and fetishwear (from what I’ve seen). Besides, you can get the same stuff for less now either through other brands or retailers like Amazon.

I had a very close call while working overseas, the chilling memory of triple checking the locks on my one-room cabin and reinforcing my windows with coat hangers definitely resonates here. I actually didn’t leave my cabin for two days except to take a shit; I peed in a jar and dumped it out the window. You do things

Cats, rivaling babies as the only cockblockers to need 18 hours of sleep a day. I have a very protective/jealous Siamese and a ragdoll, my future mate has to basically be the patron saint of cats for it to work.

WHAT A COOL GIRL. I studied Russian language and history, climb into my papoose. We will rebuild societies together.

She’s comparing yard sales to a felony and doesn’t think there’s a difference. I don’t believe for a nanosecond that she’s paying taxes properly, tbh. People don’t realize that they can get in hella trouble because they’re violating FEDERAL law yet it doesn’t ~*seem*~ like a big deal, not to mention they’re not just

The cat wasn’t feral, it was being fostered by a neighbor. She shot her neighbor’s cat. The accuracy of her shot, her gloating, and her response of ‘lol i’m too awesome to get fired’ makes me think she’s either a psychopath, on hella drugs, or both. I’d say both, tbh, psychopaths are at least good at covering their

I think she will. Animal cruelty is a felony, not to mention antithetical to the entire profession.

It wasn’t a feral cat. It was being fostered by a neighbor. The accuracy of the shot combined with her posting it and her response makes me think there’s a personality disorder at work.

Your dad was not a veterinarian. The cat was not feral, it was being fostered by a neighbor. I don’t think you should be able to keep your veterinary medicine license if you get charged with animal cruelty, and it absolutely should be a felony. So go be disgusted and smug somewhere else, it’s possible to be horrified

I was thinking childcare costs, maternity leave, etc. Big picture stuff. But so much has gone down in this thread between when I posted and now, I’m just gonna quietly bow out on this one.

Seriously, I am at a loss for words. the delusion in this one is strong, my friend.

I’ll preface this by saying I don’t really get the appeal of Lilly Pulitzer. It’s cute on little girls and old ladies, but in between it just looks weird. But this is insane. I USED TO SHOP AT THAT RICHMOND TARGET and that is a hell of a line, it makes the lines for free burritos at Chipotle look like a minor

Or maybe work an honest job instead of essentially stealing. You know you could technically be charged with a felony for doing that, right?

Weak.

Old white guys are so afraid of Hillary they’ll preach fear from the tomb....I’m dying. I need to start writing like, right now, the next great American novel where dead conservatives prowl the earth for mail-in voting forms, then Hillary vanquishes them with a ray gun.

DAD delivered them? Even in some of the most oppressed societies for women, a midwife is kinda an essential thing. That sounds awful and risky and selfish after a time, because what if you die during childbirth leaving like six kids? That’s just nuts.

and sometimes, because of finances, that’s just not doable. a lot of women would rather take the risk and have their kids sooner. nobody follows their doctor’s advice every single day — we don’t always get 7-9 hours of sleep every night or 8 glasses of water a day, and if a woman is okay with a slightly higher risk,

kinda hard to save when most Americans are up to their eyeballs in debt, whether it’s student loans or a car payment or a mortgage. any nation’s citizens would suck at saving in that situation and in this economy.

My friends who have had kids back to back say it’s essentially to get it out of the way while they’re young, and it will put all the kids in school around the same time.

I’m surprised there hasn’t been one huffy “well clearly they CAN’T afford it”, “it’s cheapening the brand”, etc person commenting here yet. Maybe that’s why.
