Ha, I was mostly being cheeky :) I just really don't like Adele's voice or her whole shtick - so over the top for my taste. The song material doesn't bother me much at all, though T-Swift definitely gets more flack for it than she deserves, and she is far from the lone perpetrator.

I once read an article that said WOC who are white passing should just identify as white and have lost a claim to their culture and heritage. Wasn't on Jezebel but was on another feminist blog, by a WOC writer no less. That one made me rage quite the internet.
