2 was a lot of fun, but they really polished 3, adding a lot of stuff that were fan-made mods for 2.

Just Cause 2 was so much fun when I played it. We got JC3 for my Sister in law when it launched, and that was some hilarious fun taking turns in the game, but I never got around to purchasing it.
I never played any of them prior to JC3 either, and I had an absolute blast. Crazy thing was, not only did I only play maybe half the campaign, I totally forgot it was there. This is my favorite game for sandbox play, hands down.
Out of curiosity do you have a clan or a group of friends who enjoy destiny? I could definitely relate to the burnout feeling for a while when I played solo but since a few friends hopped on the bandwagon our general consensus seems to be any new content = hundreds of hours of new adventures even if it was just…
I feel as if the “burnout” has came from a lack of content waiting for D2. New content no more burnout. I don’t want a brand new game completely different from Destiny, I want Destiny but updated and all the issues of D1 addressed. If it was anything but that I would be disappointed.
Ask any wow player who has played for 5 years plus and quit. New things come but the base game remains the same. You will play but each reiteration of the game you will get burned out quicker and quicker.
I am reserving all judgement until I have spent at least a few dozen hours with the final game.
They should just be coy about which side they’re on and hide their true choice until the end. That way people will pick what they like, but feel terrible when their girl of choice disagrees with them.
I’ve been on the fence with this game. Is it good? I’m almost done with mad max and I’d like another open world kinda game.
Tales from the Borderlands was a gem and I’m kind of disappointed that I’ll probably never get to play a FPS as any of the characters.
There are three “Walking Dead” seasons in the Telltale lineup now, plus the supplemental episodes entitled “400 Days,” which serves as the bridge between seasons 1 and 2. You’ve got some catching up to do, friend, and I highly recommend you do it because Telltale’s TWD (especially Season 1) is just fantastic. I still…
Same. Impulse spending at the click of a button is the devil xD
Oh no! Cecilia! That’s not what we do with secrets!
A secret: this is my first big review for Kotaku. I appreciate the kind words!
Heh yeah! So many potential Persona 5 screenshots they fucked up because they’d always pop up at great moments in the game, blocking some of the action — but you couldn’t take a screenshot anyways so :)
I really don’t get the whole Nintendo “won” thing over a simple title card they could have drawn up the night before. I mean, yeah, it’s nice to have confirmation a game will appear at some point, but it was still nothing more than a title card. If that’s all it takes “win” people have set their expectations far too…
Yeah I started looking at maps at about 80 as well. Although not this weekend! I ended up getting Injustice 2, which is excellent.
Sounds about right. I couldn’t care less about what was happening in Birthright. I don’t know about Conquest, but after failing to engage me on the second try, I put it down and moved on. Luckily Echoes is still compelling, even after twenty hours.
Fire Emblem Echoes crept its way into my regular rotation while I was new game plussing Persona 5. I didn’t expect this to happen, but I haven’t had this much fun with a FE since Awakening. If you’re a fan of grinding and rolling over your opponents, Echoes is the game for you.
Either finishing the shrines in Zelda, or taking a break to play one of the four games I started but then put on the back burner because 2017 is overwhelming me with great shit to play.
