Every month I go to the store and “purchase” the PS+ games, but you’re right, is it worth it to download them?

Yeah, I’ve done a bunch of uninstalls/reinstalls! I’ve been watching Sony make these strange decisions for many, many years. They have always been keen on this idea of establishing proprietary formats (MiniDisc, those weird Magic Gate memory sticks, the list goes on), but they never quite nailed it. The Vita is a…
Great! I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about this kind of gameplay, but Wolf Among Us and Tales from the Borderlands were just fantastic. I’ve got both Walking Dead seasons but haven’t played them yet. Such a nice change of pace from the Ubisoft scavenger hunt games I keep subjecting myself to.
I do agree. I love my Vita and 3DS both, but the Switch hits a perfect sweet spot for me in all but current library size (which hopefully will be a very short-lived issue).
This looks pretty good! I actually don’t own any of these for either PS4 or Vita (a testament to my excessive purchasing habits more than anything else). I don’t like to complain, but it is nice to not get a PixelArt PS4 game for once.
My wife gave me a Vita for x-mas last year. It’s got a great RPG library, and I love replaying FFX on the go, but I gotta say, shelling out for that 16BG card was painful. I couldn’t rationalize the larger card by any stretch.
I still don’t know about all this. I think back and I remember all the good times: the grinding for hours on end, the community, teaming up with people to do the Nightfall, running back to a social zone to cash in bounties & engrams, the list goes on. Then I think about all the things that drove me nuts: the grinding…
You heard it here folks. The cause of change in the environment is the environment. Also ocean waters. Who? What?! WHY???!!!1!
I didn’t think of that until after I wrote my comment! I forgot a cardinal rule: never, EVER praise the new kid in the class! I apologize to Cecilia in advance for any atomic wedgies/locker stuffings that may come out of this.
Really? Great job! Your review is a logically reasoned, well-mapped argument that supports your conclusion. I haven’t played ARMS beyond the Test-Punch so I don’t know if I’d agree with your conclusion after/if I end up playing the game myself, but I don’t need to agree to know you wrote a good review. Looking forward…
Mario Bros. on Colecovision! This was back when Super Mario Bros was in the arcades and the NES hadn’t released yet. I was so desperate to play Super Mario Bros at home that I used to pretend I was playing SMB secret levels when I played Mario Bros. I even pretended to shoot fireballs. Man, I miss having an…
Jason, thanks for the write-up of your hands-on with Samus Returns. I’m really excited for this. Metroid II is the only Metroid I never finished; I kept getting lost in the map and had trouble distinguishing different areas on the Game Boy screen. Props and kudos aplenty to all you Metroidheads that were able to do it…
Oh man. That’s a splinter in the brain right there. So sorry. Don’t blame yourself for pressing on it when you saw it. We do stuff like that for no reason. Prodding at a sore tooth, fiddling with something broken to see if it’s still broken, and so on. I’ve no idea why, but we do it.
I have no idea what I’ve got for PS4 trophies. I turned off the notification and was really glad to see it go. They were distracting, and they tended to show up in otherwise really cool screenshots which to me ruined the image. I do understand that some people like them, and I guess I understand why. Not for me.
“Big 4" hah. I guess I had 4 on the brain.
There are a lot of people like me out there who’ve been waiting nearly 10 years for the promise of another Metroid Prime game, or a good Metroid ANYTHING game. Last year I was both crushed and angry when they announced Federation Force, to the point where I was ready to move away from Nintendo. I felt it was the last…

I heard the delay is due to union bargaining meetings over the dock-working job. Personally, I do think the NPCs should get paid lunches.
Good point. I’m playing Trails of Cold Steel on Vita now, and have Disgaea 5 Complete for Switch on the way. Wouldn’t attempt either if I was landlocked in front of a TV. I can manage about 70-80 hours tops on a PS4 game these days, and that takes me forever
