If you’re enjoying it, that’s what counts! Blowing $60 on a game you end up really disliking just plain sucks, and I’ve definitely been there more than once.

yeah, regarding ME:A, I’m really glad I took that chance. At the end of the day, if you’re having fun with it then it just can’t be that bad. As for Persona 5, since it sounds like we’re in the same boat, this line may be the clincher: “there are lots of people to kiss.” I just don’t see myself having fun with that.…
Good question. I want to be able to tell myself I’ll like this game, because it’s getting such good reviews and SO many people are excited about it, but I just can’t get into the high-school time management aspect of it. I tried with P4 Golden, and kinda got creeped out trying to manage the social/love life of a minor…
7.8 - too much scorn.
I do want to play this as soon as it comes out, however, I’m also thinking of how much Destiny 1 day-one players paid out to stay current on content as compared with somebody who jumped aboard last September. I mean, yeah, you can save money by waiting a year or two, but you’ll miss out on a year or two of gameplay.…
When I was much younger, there was a time when I was a huge fan of Japanese pop culture, and I went through that fleeting period of time when I wished more than anything that I was a student at a Japanese high school. That, however, was decades ago, and although I still definitely appreciate a well-crafted RPG, I’m…
I was just thinking that. The last bluray I bought was The Force Awakens, because Star Wars. I stream everything else.
According to the picture, I can play without my helmet. I CAN PLAY WITHOUT MY HELMET.
Thanks for the lookout Kirk! Now I know which Shrine is going to be my 120th.
I think somebody wrote that the cost of protecting Melania and Barron alone equals/exceeds the funding amount National Endowment for the Arts which he proposed to axe.
Hi Patricia, I was really glad to see your review finally came up. In the last couple days, so there’s so much opinion deep on both sides of the spectrum that it’s really been hard for me to filter.
Interesting; do you think they’re gearing up for a new trilogy?
I cancelled my pre-order. I hope to play it sometime down the line, but based on what I’ve seen/read of the early access trial, I don’t feel that I want to invest in this for day-one. I’m actually more concerned about all the busy-work, clunky UI, and tedious to-do lists than I am the animations at this point.
I was thinking of what you said when I was playing yesterday. I hadn’t opened up the southeastern area yet, so I went there and decided to just walk the southernmost eastbound road to see where it went. Soon enough an NPC told me what was at the end of the road, so I thought, “cool, let’s go there!” The road takes…
You nailed it. I feel totally fine with getting sidetracked in BotW, because it never feels like I’m getting sidetracked. It feels like I’m in a constant state of adventure, and I love it. I’ve already traveled so far, and like you I still have half the map to uncover! And I’m looking forward to it!
Correct. You can fast-travel between campfires you’ve already saved at. There is an unlimited-use item you can buy at a certain point in the game. Prior to that, you need to craft the item or loot them. I’m also not sure why the item exists either; prior to buying the unlimited one I always had more consumable ones…
That’s awesome, Gita. You’ve got some really cool horses there! I really, really love getting lost in Hyrule, and how the game lets me spend as much time as I want on whatever I set my mind on doing.
Good points. Also, I’ve always thought of Link and Zelda as being pretty much non-sexual. They’re both pretty dedicated to duty first. So, does Link appear embarrassed because he’s dressed like a girl, or because he’s being sexualized at all? Also, for all I know, maybe the lead designer for that controversial Gerudo…
Good questions. I did put a tempered-glass screen protector on mine, but I do that with all my electronics because I can be a bit clutzy at times, and it also (to my mind) looks nice. Had the Switch in and out of the dock for the previous week, no issues to report.
