I think BF1 is fantastic and I really, really want to be good at it, for both my own enjoyment and for the sake of the team. I think I’m lacking whatever combination of time + natural talent is required to really get good.

I haven’t played the game yet and am unfamiliar with the actual mechanics. I’ll give it a try but my only real question is this: how soon into the game do you hit the paywall? Or can you play a decent amount of content without having to pawn a kidney?
