Riding bicycles is incredibly fucking dangerous
Riding bicycles is incredibly fucking dangerous
This happened 12 months ago with the Model 3 when Q3 2023, people said there was a slow down. Than we found out Tesla was using all the parts in inventory to build as many Model 3s as they could, so they had inventory to take the production lines off and upgrade them for the new “Highland” Model 3 which came out Jan…
it’s all the cost. Supply and Demand. Drop the price or add some crazy lease deals and they will all move.
The funny thing is that lifestyle changes with respect to driving (work from home specifically) are probably way more impactful than almost any vehicle choice you could make. To the extent we can, as a culture, we should try to reduce the amount of miles we drive.
I feel like plug in hybrids will work really well for a significant chunk of the population. If your commute isn’t too long, you could spend a significant portion of your time effectively driving an EV with the flexibility to take longer trips too.
1st gear feels like you are attacking the wrong thing instead of focusing on the positives we still have.
Lots of cars have variable ratio steering. Speed sensitive as well.
You can go lock-to-lock in a Cybertruck much faster than a conventional vehicle, which would make the lagginess even worse
Isn’t the ratio greatly quickened when stopped like this? So, at higher speed, the driver would likely have to turn the steering wheel even further, which would reduce the lag.
Of all the things to complain about, this is pretty much a non-issue. Steering effort is always highest at a stop since the tires are 100% scrubbing. It’s not a good way to see the response from any system. Even a slight roll would probably make it much less noticeable
You're almost as wrong as the Cybertruck is dumb.
Your first sentence is a joke right? Right?
Tires make a hell of a difference. I would put money on a 2wd truck with mud tires and a LSD/locker over a 4wd truck with street tires.
train car
I don’t even care if most of that was tongue-in-cheek, it’s a pretty fucking dumb question. Not quite as dumb as the continual use of the word woke, but pretty dumb.
Why would this be a third car and not a first car?
Both Bolt models really were fantastic, after driving the Equinox I’m excited to see what Chevy does with the next-gen model
what’s impractical about it?
I loved my chevy volt, this has been on my list to consider. I was looking into the Mach E but no federal tax credit....
You can always just admit you cannot afford one
