There is no bodies no more. They were reduced to paste. What is left is already food for the detritivores down there. They are part of the ocean now, the same as what happened to the people trapped in the Titanic herself when she went down all those years ago.

Nope. Hate to be sick, but the inside of the vessel was hit with a giant hammer of water going Mach 1. Like being stomped on by a really pissed of Godzilla.

Yea, but if what the other guy said about “trying to drop ballast” is true, there were a few moments where they knew something was amiss. It ended quickly, but their last few moments were probably not great.

When a submarine implodes at great depths it creates a very intense heat akin to what happens in a diesel engine compression cycle. They were probably incinerated if not also physically disintegrated by the collapsing hull.

As Robot Turds got there before me, the simple fact is that there aren’t bodies to recover.

He was also pretty efficient at dodging journalists’ questions regarding body recovery. In response to a question about the casualties, Mauger insisted its a dicy environment.”

The question of whether the bodies would be recovered I feel was answered appropriately. They know the answer. The bodies were probably vaporized during the implosion so there’s not much, if any to recover. To answer that the environment is very unforgiving instead was a more sensitive response.

Bring everyone back home. They’ve spend enough manpower and money looking for people who, unfortunately, met their demise by way of a high-risk and completely discretionary activity. And send the bills to the OceanGate too. Maybe that will discourage the growth of this industry.

If there’s one silver lining, it’s that an implosion would have been a quick death and they wouldn’t have suffered like they would if they suffocated.

I love that we’re spending public resources to find a bunch of billionaires stuck on the bottom of the ocean due to their own arrogance and neglect for safety. If any of them survive, they should get a huge bill for the rescue.

“If you wanna get to President Trump, you’re gonna have to go through me, and you’re gonna have to go through 75 million Americans just like me,” Lake recently said at an event in Georgia. “And most of us are card-carrying members of the NRA. That’s not a threat, that’s a public service announcement.”

Good. The charging network and charging cable/connector is something Tesla did right.

I really don’t understand how the other chargers are so seemingly fragile. Why are they broken so often? We’ve traveled with our Tesla for months now and have encountered exactly 1 Tesla charging station that was broken (there were

Thank you. ffs, let’s bring up an abstract tidbit in the title and not further discuss it in the actual article

yes, they’re innocent until proven guilty, so the judge treats usually w/ some modicum of decency before they are found guilty or exonerated. not uncommon at all

Getting the feeling this dude is one of those weird soft-boy hoteps, in the vein of Ben Carson.

Yeah, I remember seeing him once talk about it on Colbert and everybody in the audience and Colbert himself are saying “aww” like it’s something moving and profound. It was really weird.

Anyone remember this ad? Seems appropriate these days.

Supply and demand. The dealers ask for that kind of money because people will pay it. What gets me is how willingly people add another 800 to 1000 dollar per month payment to their lives, in this time of ever increasing prices for everything. Guess they are making a lot more than me.

His attorney keeps mentioning evidence defending her client, but if that’s true how come the district attorney hasn’t seen it yet?

Just so people don’t have to waste their time, this is the weird cup explanation (Thanks Jez writer for being lazy or just being in the pocket of Big Today):
