I see nothing wrong with calling out Walmart execs and shareholders‘ greed to their faces.
Wow, you are *really* grasping here. There are a lot of things you can criticize Sanders fo...this really is not one of them.
Given what some people drive around with, yes.
Would you say you have much tie rod maintenance to do? Or do you just replace it when it’s worn out? If the only thing you have to think about is replacing it when it’s shot, I’d say that’s no-maintenance.
Or worry about tire damage rendering a tire unusable before it wears out.
The maintenance is that they won’t have to keep track of air pressure.
“Atkinson said he does not regularly use the N-word.”
Atkinson told the Chronicle he had no issues with having a black person on his crew if he could find a good one.
I can agree. When I got a very nice bike (albeit was 20 years old at the time) I tried to talk to a biker about it. This biker, who is a dermatologist and I tended bar part time at the place his wife drank, could only say “you need to get rid of that aluminum frame, carbon fiber is so much better.” BitchI don’t pull…
I used to mountain bike regularly in my younger days, and even though I had a bike that was objectively very nice and expensive for a non-pro rider in the mid to late 90s (decent frame and I added front suspension, lightweight bar ends, high end clipless pedals, upgraded shifters, Selle Italia Flite saddle, etc.) I…
There’s having a hobby, and then there’s having an obsession and using the price of items your obsession demands to codify the value of people. That’s something quite different. If that's having “a thing”, then I don’t have a thing.
One of my favorite stories is the time I was stopped at a red light (on my bike) when an asshole flies past me on his bike, cursing at me, only to slam into the side of a bus in the middle of the intersection.
As an avid rider, I absolutely agree with you. There’s also a direct correlation to how expensive someone’s bike is to how big of an asshole they are.
I wish people would drop the whole “Lance” pejorative, bike racing existed before him and still exists after him. I like to ride bikes, I like to challenge myself in races (although if I only did 15mph on a rail trail I wouldn’t get very far in any competitive environment). I do most of my training inside these days…
The answer in the cars/bikes/pedestrians argument of “who’s the d-bag?” is: everyone. Every single one of those groups, in general, assumes they’re entitled to about 10% more of the road/path than they really are, and they all fuck up in different ways:
shes not because shes speaking the truth and being straightforward instead of triangulating is far too rare in politics. Delaney is a DINO and a joke. Hell be on CNN or Fox soon enough punching down and to the left.
by telling the guy arguing “we cannot improve healthcare for all americans, in a way every other first world country already has, because that might negatively impact my vast wealth” to fuck off, op
