Totally consistent with Tesla’s M.O. of overpromise and under-deliver. Even on issues that don’t matter, like the bed length of a lifestyle truck where it doesn’t matter! A 4'11" bed it totally adequate for a truck like this; like the article says, the very useable Maverick has an ever shorter bed. The additional

HOLY FUCKING SHIT VOTE FOR JOE BIDEN, MAKE YOUR FRIENDS VOTE FOR JOE BIDEN, AND DON’T SAY ANYTHING TO DISSUADE PEOLPE FROM VOTING FOR JOE BIDEN.

Miles per gallon? “Maybe.”

Fetterman is not a conservative. He’s just pro-Israel, and has been since well before his election.

Bradley is the least series person here.

Fetterman was always strongly pro-Israel, like his constituents. I’m not sure why suddenly people expect him to be a Hamas supporter or something.

Very few, but an Acadia is honestly just as much off-roader as most people need. I can see a former Subaru buying grabbing one of these once that third kid drops. Perfect for towing toys and going camping, and not a huge gas/ride quality penalty going to soccer practice like a Bronco would be.

Sure, there are plenty others. Why didn’t you vote for them in the primaries?

Anyone who votes for Donald Trump should never, every be listened to or taken seriously again.

OK great. But can the people who want to live in cities make their cities livable for them? Or do they need your permission first?

The US Navy hasn’t built a battleship since World War II. A big part of the Naval fleet doesn’t produce any GHGs; they are nuclear powered!

I think you just proved his point.

If you think everyone around you is loud, dumb, and miserable, I have bad news buddy. You’re the problem.

STRONG TOWNS! Huzzah!

I actually really like the size/specs of the 500e, but oooof that price is absurd. 150 miles for an urban car is totally fine. For someone who doesn’t leave the city on road-trips, or wants a second car for just getting around town, 150 miles is totally cromulent. But that small battery should mean a small price!

Maybe we, I don’t know, focus on making bicycling safer? We do that by removing the most dangerous things to bikes; CARS.

I wouldn’t feel too bad about the big Lexus; you drive it so infrequently your annual GHG emissions from travel are definitely lower than someone in a Tesla who drives 100 miles round trip to work every day!

EVs are absolutely a new good for the world. They reduce GHG emissions as well as local air pollutants.

I have a Gen 2 Volt and I haven’t bought gas since May ... 2023. We have a long-range EV for road-trips, so the Volt is just an around town car now, but it is so rare we drive more than the 55-ish mile EV range that Ijust . . . haven’t bought gas at all.
