The Bolt EUV is a nearly perfect second car for the suburbs. Its way bigger inside than you would think because no transmission tunnel/hump, etc. It won’t fast charge any higher than 55 kW, but if you plug it in at night and drive around all day, its perfect.

Little known fact, but the CA gas engine “bans” actually allow a substantive percentage of PHEVs. A super-duty with a 40 miles all EV-range (not towing) would go a long way to reducing use of gasoline for daily moving around or in congested, slow-speed areas. 

Yes, pretty soon Californians won’t have to worry about gas prices and refineries, because they will be driving electric cars. Take THAT oil and gas companies. 

That would mean the refinery makes LESS money. They’d much rather sell as much gas as possible. Prices going up but volume going down usually means they make less money overall. 

Stop buying so much gas if you don’t like gas prices. Simply as.
