Sorry that I’m late to the party, but I waited far too long to get Lasik surgery. I spent my youth behind glasses or in contacts from age 5. Until this year I had never known what it was like to just wake up and see. I maxed out my medical flex spending, and the remainder was 0 percent interest for 18 months at around

I feel like people who know me (and would then be texting me) know that my ok is a friendly. Got it, sure, and fine, are the ones that carry a connotation.

I taught my kid tic tac toe early on. The problem is I showed her how to either win or tie every time, so we cannot play together anymore because no one wins. But I forgot about the dot game! Totally going to do this with her.

As a guy who has leg hair that casts its own shadow and has a wife with hairy enough arms for the teasing described here at a young age I appreciate this article. We have two little girls and the 5 year old got the hairy gene. Now I know a bit more how to think about it.

There are a lot of people getting a lot less than that these days. Industries that are slow to downsize spread their raise pool money so thin it often ends up at 2%. Mine has had 5 years of 1.5% pools. I get more because I get promotions and there have to be winners and losers, but there are a lot of people who lose

So much this. Lisa’s response to you that it is depressing means she’s out of touch with what a lot of people go through. I am on year 5 of a 1.5% raise pool. I get more than the pool because there have to be winners and losers, but I’m only surviving on promotion and title increases. I am in a position that sees the

As someone who has access to it all the time I too do not think it is the end all be all, but there are a lot of people doing border runs all the same.

Reminds me of the entire subculture of people in Illinois and Minnesota who cross over into Wisconsin to export New Glarus beer.

It would appear so.

These are all of the people who have been in the headlines. I wonder what the list is like when you include the clerical staff. This was a good read from NPR about a woman who answered an online and became a white house stenographer, she got to be in a lot of rooms, including after the trump transition. https://www.npr

FYI, you have Smart House listed twice...

People refusing to sell their homes to black people......... sadly Milwaukee remains one of the most geographically segregated cities in the US. The blue is countryside or along the lake rich white neighborhoods. While you see grey, it’s probably closer to 79% white and should be blue, except for the hispanic south

Day?

This does not happen here, I can’t tell you where here is lest I open the flood gates. But rest assured there are places in the countryside, suburbs, and city where this would never happen.

I have to protest. All of your options are either too small or have freezers. Most of those freezers will need thawing or are too small to use for more than 6 items. I love my old dorm fridge. I keep it in my work office now under the desk 14 years later. I keep multiple bottles of wine, a six pack of beer, and a lot

Preach!

Married guy here and I’ve been washing bras for awhile....... um, that’s gross. You just need the right cycle / detergent / bag / drying technique and you are fine. It’s literally an undergarment, while it holds your boobs it also is met with the same environments as undershirts, underwear, etc. Maybe we should call

I remember the exact moment it clicked for me as a kid. Was doing some chores and was told “you don’t have to bend over, that’s why the handle is so long.” It fixed me, all of a sudden sweeping and raking leaves was much easier.

I feel you. I had to learn how to iron myself after age 25. Now, all I can do is men’s slacks and shirts, cotton. I have no clue the settings/techniques/temp for other fabrics like certain suits or my wife’s clothes. Cotton is just a lot of steam and proper placement of a hot iron.

I can’t shave properly. Dad had an electric razor, and never really talked about it. When I needed to shave, I borrowed his until I bought my own. We never talked about it. I’m pretty sure he was never taught how to either.
