I fail at many things, but over thinking the mundane is not one of them.

Well played pineapple.
I think you’re right in that can is a weak word, and not altogether correct. Of course I can, in theory. I should shift to may. I think terms like will are jarring unless you use the contraction I’ll or we’ll.
I’m in the midwest and I’m always alarmed when I travel to the coasts how courtesy just goes out the window.
I say that every team gets a roster of 14. Open roster spots can be filled by anyone enrolled at the school, but the spot only becomes open when the previous person completes their degree at any institution or it has been 3 years since that previous person has played collegiate basketball. In other words, people who…
In 2001 I got a used 85, even though I had the standard 83+. The 85 was older in design, but it had better hidden menus and capabilities. Our teachers were wise to what was going on with the 83+ and would report people for the known games like drug wars and would wipe them if someone was caught using it in class.
This is accurate. People are always lumping the plain states in with the Midwest. Out of spite I would say in IL that the southern border is I80, not I70, but your version is more accurate.
I’m with you that this all seems logical. I’ve found that this show is done just right. My wife doesn’t watch much TV at all, I don’t know how I would react in front of her, what she would read from me.
For those shirts, if they are the right material they can always be used as rags. The last time I stained wood I looked around for something to use and I ended up just pulling an old undershirt out of my dresser. The sleeve ripped right off and I tossed it when I was done with my project. I wouldn’t keep all of them…
New York in the summer without AC is like living in the jungle. This may be the best decision of your life. Depending on your apartment, and if you only get one unit, put it in your bedroom, not your living space. Sleeping comfortably > sitting on the couch comfortably.
It does come in handy though. I went out and got a set that are all on the same device, like a large pocket knife where each size flips out. Well I often find that on items with slats, like a crib, they expect you to use the single allen wrench that has the short length before the elbow. If I just used my set, I’d…
I hid tools all over the house like this, but taping it is a good idea. I have a wrench set in the garage just for typical nuts that are on cars. When I’m working on a random project, I never use that set, I go down to the basement to find the set that is meant for any project.
To that I say, try it and tell me if citations can handle it, at an enterprise level, with no screwing around as if it was built in.
We hosted everything ourselves when I was there but I’m no longer in IT. I think one or two of my friends are now sitting around pretending to work since the migration ended.
No, create a glossary at the end of your document, not edit the dictionary that Word uses. You can have a table of contents, you can have an index, and you can have citations, but you can’t automatically build a glossary.
Just today I was disappointed to learn that the latest word still can’t insert a glossary for all of your company jargon.
That’s because it’s not for you, it’s for them. I’m pretty sure that no matter what you rate anything everyone sees the same recommendations which are based on what they want you to watch. They take your ratings and use it as data for many things other than driving what they recommend to you outside of generic…
As a parent of young children, their model is backwards. If you want to build a theater where kids who can’t sit still have a place to roam, that’s fine, just don’t sell it as a normal viewing experience. This should be billed as an indoor “movie in the park” experience where classic movies that everyone has seen…
It basically means look at total cost first, and monthly cost second, because of the other factors at play, like length of the loan. You really shouldn’t say you can “afford” a car just because you can pay $300 a month. You should wait until you can say I can afford it by putting this much down and paying $300 a month…
This. It’s not the cost of regulation, or the details. It’s the economic strength to be able to afford nice things, like the knowledge that there’s enough regulation that “I’m good” buying this at the store. I don’t think people understand the danger of unsafe food. We take product (especially food) safety for…
