I’ve seen many professional athletes get away with stuff that anybody else would either be in prison for or just outright murdered in revenge. Instead the judges give them a pass so they can keep playing. The worst offenders for this crap (that I saw, anyway) was the Broncos during the Elway years. At one point one of

All politicians should be forced into mandatory retirement at 60, and banned from lobbying.

I’m pretty sure that a strict adherence to the facts would have saved Zuck from being hated by everyone.

Most likely killed and eaten by coyotes. This happens in suburbia quite a bit.

Many of those glacial lakes see only a few people a decade - difficult to get to, trails open for only a couple months, and frequently cold. 40-50 years ago about the only people who visited them were Boy Scouts and park rangers.

Most people just use their thumb to push out the guts of a trout - the knife is to make the incision and lop off the head. There’s also the “head pull” method which, while practical, never seemed to catch on with the majority.

Considering how much cheating they do, “Mostly Bad” doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Sucker bets.

I grew up in that lousy town; once you ate at Taco John’s over by Sentinel HS you had exhausted your options for non-American food.

If you are renting you are still paying ALL of those costs. They are calculated into your rent.

This is literally nothing more than a “sweet lemons” propaganda piece for people that either don’t understand how the world works or are in denial.

Renting is most DEFINITELY throwing your money away. Or, more accurately, you’re paying someone else’s mortgage FOR them, helping them build equity, AND generating income for them.

A lot of this will depend upon location. When my brother in Boise brags that his home is fully paid off I point out to him that his home valuation doesn’t even qualify for a down payment in the Seattle area.

However, if you find a bag full of drug cartel cash while camping, you can keep it (you might get murdered later by the cartel, but that’s the breaks).

I was wondering the same thing.....

A vasectomy.
