They think it reduces wear on the transmission. When in fact it significantly increases it.

Some vintage transmissions with goofy pressure regulators or without regulators are driven from the engine speed rather than gear/output shaft speed. So if you’re coasting at 100mph in neutral, that’s equivalent to running ‘idle like’ engine oil pressures at redline on your engine.

Turns out there has been some legal issues, if you can send another $1000 for legal fees they will have the money released immediately.
