Oh I’m very familiar with getting blackout drunk. For the drinker it’s a lot like time travel, except you ruin parties.

Winter can be really fun! February is good—still kind of cold, but a bit lighter in the afternoon.

I know a thing or two about drunk drivers and can vouch for this.

The other factor is focus. As the task becomes harder from a motor-skills perspective, the more energy and attention you have to put into it. A normal person might give the act of keeping their car straight maybe 20% of their attention, and that’s fine, because that’s all they need. A drunk person has to give

Or lots of alcohol. If this is a surprise to you, you’ve never met a truly egregiously drunk person.

Are we sure this was alcohol? Driving around unaware that you have a shattered sunroof with a pole through it? Sounds more like heroin or oxy

Actually, except on the freeway out of Anchorage and on the more isolated highways, it’s nit too hard to avoid a moose. But it happens and when they get hit at 50 or faster the damage to the cars can be impressive. Most of my moose sightings were in urban Anchorage where traffic is a bit slower. A few times a year

Further proof that sunroofs can be dangerous.

This is an Alaskan thing, also. The freeway between Anchorage and Eagle River is a killing field for moose. And, alas, sometimes bears.

I was at a track day once. During the cooldown lap, a guy put his Viper into the trees. This is the lap you’re supposed to take it easy to let your car cool down. Turns out this was the second Viper he’d totaled at a track day.

This looked like a new-ish Viper, and those do actually have traction control. The guy in this video probably turned it off because he thought he was hot shit.

I have a good method for this cars and coffee. We have organized our levers do the regular Porsche Saturday meets to coincide with this event, about 5 miles down the road, So we all get to this one at memorial city around 6.30-7, drunk coffee and hang out with the other sports car owners. Then around 8.30 we all

And people eat it up as evidenced by whoever is clapping. “Fuck yea I’m seeing a wreck!”

The drivers looked incredibly young as well..... I learned to drive on a manual B2000 before getting my Z32 TT and it honestly helped understand the basic fundamental of a rwd manual. I need to make sure my kids learn on a manual as well.

Now I don’t know your sister, but she had it coming.

I believe we’re talking about the exact same traffic.

I generally fly at 7 am. The reasons have nothing to do with delays.

After 4 years of swapping and aligning youcould have just bought new wheels.

I keep mine in the garage stacked on their side. I bought a 2'x2' piece of particle board from Lowes, cut the corners a bit to make an octogon and screwed some casters to the bottom. I stack the un-used tires on this dolly thing so I can easily move the stack out of the way.

Question for people with both summer and winter tires, where do you store your extra tires when you’re not using them?
