Damn, I could have sworn that was from the episode where Bart got into that scouting thing.

Oh it's immensely overrated. I had to read it for 10th grade English class, and we pored over all of this symbolism and stuff, but it was really heavy handed. (Which I guess makes it good for teaching kids about symbolism? There has to be a better book for that).

I didn't mind the ending because of the delivery of the line "Let's say Moe." Also I felt that's how Lord of the Flies ended. Absolute chaos… Then ships suddenly show up. The end.

Go grapefruit!

The way I listen to albums is to stumble upon them via a song I've heard before. Then after I listen to that song on Spotify a few times I look at the rest of the album and listen to songs based on whether I think they have cool names. (This is surprisingly effective). And if I like multiple songs off an album, I

Not for the lack of Disqus trying to bring them here though. (Disqus sees MRA in a thread. Starts shooting out troll signals).

Continuing my watching of How to Get Away with Murder. Over halfway through the seasons and the timeline has finally caught up with the flash forwards. I think that means I can stop being confused by things?

Ah Cid. I played FFVI in 2012. Despite being a real latecomer, I didn't know that you could save Cid. Finding out online that it was quite possible was quite crushing.

Mario & Luigi SS has one of my favorite final boss fights, but damn if I wasn't underleveled the first time through. Dodging attacks you've never seen before at 1 HP is just so cruel.

I just assumed Flemeth's involvement would to explain her showing up in later games despite killing her in the first one. Merrill's Eluvian could have been more interesting, but was instead a plot device to have a demon corrupt the Dalish. And the final quest seemed super rushed, and I really wished that they didn't

I've beaten DAII. I think it has a lot of concepts that feel a little rushed, it ends on a non ending, and it really recycles the environment.

It's been four years since my first playthrough on DA2 in which played diplomatic blood mage male Hawke. I can't remember his voice acting that well.

My purchase of the N64 Dreamland stage for Smash Wii U feels entirely justified due to their use of the True Arena final boss music as a potential music option from Kirby Triple Deluxe.

Oh yeah, my current Hawke is mostly silly, but at really tense moments like Leandra's disappearance she got aggressive. (Being betrayed by others also brings out her angry side). And when my companions are going through rough times she can be pretty diplomatic too. Though she does sometimes come off as rude because of

Yeah, though voice acting helps a huge amount so it's a big step up from Origins. Hawke was a bit more restricted in personality (like I felt like I had to diplomatic/silly/aggressive and stick with it. Though I do at major moments like suddenly going from silly to aggressive. It can work well at some points) but they

It was basically that. There was some dodging his attacks, but in general it was that. It's a weird boss fight. It feels they wanted to go more with an Action RPG boss where the important thing is to dodge attacks and counter when you have an opening. But while the battle system is more fluid, it's not really suited

Good post on the smash music. 64 smash is the only one I haven't played so I look forward to what you say about the other three games. (Side note about smash music, I didn't realize that Fountain of Dreams in a else was a remix of Gourmet Race from Kirby Super Star for so long it's ridiculous. It's a fantastic remix

It's weird, because I feel similarly about Let's Plays… When they are videos of someone playing. Certain RPG's I'm willing to look through screenshots of other people's playing, especially if they have some funny commentary. Maybe it's the fact that it's quicker to read than to watch a video, and that I don't have to

This weekend I'll be playing:

In like the Buffalo area. That's practically Canada anyway.
