Reach for the Skyler

No, there's a much higher floor of knowledge you need to use a computer for cybercrime, than for a gun. Guns are just point and pull the trigger, which any idiot can do (and does). To use a computer for crime requires a much higher threshold of knowledge to even attempt.

Tangentially related, the BBC just issued a memorandum stating that the entire organization should cease booking guests in the interest of POV equity, i.e., they should stop booking guests whose points of view are generally discredited merely because they want to have two people argue on the air. Although I could see

Bachelor Chow, now with "flavor"!

Maybe we should petition Continuum to give her a role, I mean now that it's gotten interesting over the past couple seasons. I could see her killing it in that show.

She was on Arrow during the past second season….not a real great or interesting role, but she's keeping busy and I still have hope she will find her breakout role. Also, no mention of the Cape for Summer? I have the feeling that might have been her breakout role if it had lasted longer than six episodes.

Also Barkhad Abdi, Loni Anderson, Ann Bancroft, the Andrews Sisters, Rachel Leigh Cook…..Look, I was gonna type em all out but there's a TON of interesting people from Minnesota.

Don't forget Winona Ryder was born here and named after a mediocre college town by a river. And Soul Asylum was in Minneapolis. She dated the lead singer at one point. And he was in one of her movies as a dude smoking pot in the background. Good times.

Brandon Nowalk - I believe Houston is home to Dr. Dooom (Kool Keith). That's more appealing to me than Beyonce. Call me weird.

The immortal wisdom of Steve Dallas, presented without comment:

I liked both of them - they had a peppy, can-do spirit that was appealing. And they wrestled in oatmeal while wearing short-shorts.

I miss TechTV. You want nerd cred, that was a channel with more nerd cred than G4 could ever hope to achieve. And friends, G4 was plenty nerdy to begin with.

I'm sure that the monitors were blown up by Irisa's magic-fu since they blew up right before they were going to show Irisa killing that girl Birdie. Who strangely showed up alive by the end of the episode. WTFK (who the fuck knows).

As opposed to TV's Cappadocius. That fucker just irks me.

I've never heard of this syndrome, but I think I know some people with it. Explains a lot, actually.

Brazilian Girls - Die Gedanken Sind Frei
Mad Caddies - No Sex
Dr. Dooom - Call the Cops
PJ Harvey - Who Will Love Me Now
Sir Mix-a-Lot - My Posse's on Broadway
Jefferson Airplane - White Rabbit
Neko Case - Things That Scare Me

Upvoted for Earth People. One of the greatest songs from one of the most entertaining rappers around (I'm including all of his various alter egos in that call…..Dr. Dooom, Kool Keith, Doctor Octagon, more…..)

Love for Good Old Days as well. Besides the obvious awesomeness of the lyrics, the creepiness of the James Taylor-like music really makes it work.

You know, Smithers, being at a sport event is one of the few times when I relish the sight, the sound, and yes, even the smell of my fellow man.

Pepe Le Pew was all talk, no action. I remember at least one cartoon where that cat came around hard, and Pepe was just TERRIFIED of her.
