Anyone with half a brain who even paid passing attention would know George Carlin was the least conservative human being alive during his time on this Earth.

You can’t really compare the two. The 70s were mostly scenery for That 70s Show. Love or hate the show, you have to admit it focused on it’s characters for the humor.

My dad had a DAD joke - when the server said, “Hi! I’m Ann. I’ll be your server.” My dad would often say, “Hi! I’m Jim. I’ll be the eater.” He had a lot of those types of jokes and I didn’t think I’d miss them...but I do.

It may not be metoo.

You have a higher chance of going to Hawaii and getting attacked by Ezra Miller than you do getting attacked by a shark.

If people are really into Twin Peaks may I suggest Gravity Falls? Yes, it’s a children’s cartoon, but it clearly takes a lot of inspiration from Lynch’s series and gets fairly intense in the second season with “Dollar Bill” who is their version of Twin Peaks’ Bob. It’s streaming on Disney+.

10 out of 10 Helens agree.

Now I’m thinking about getting a bag of S&V and some dill spice, pouring said spice into the bag and shake...

If there’s anything I know about Gilbert Gottfried, it’s that he would want nothing more than to have us make tasteless jokes about his death less than a week afterwards. Afraid I can’t think of any right now, but RIP regardless.

Okay, I kind of get the feeling you’re just trying to pick an argument here, but I’m genuinely curious about what this apparently unique POC take on this issue is, since from what I’ve seen they generally seem to fall into being some variation on the same three categories as everyone else’s, namely:

Not even close.

  • Will Smith is a violent monster who should have had his Oscar stripped away, and charges pressed

And, really, we could leave it right there (Maybe for good! That would be nice!)

What they really want to know is how you approach challenges, what you learned from the experience, and how you constructively applied that knowledge to other situations.”

when was the last time Weinstein, Allen, or Polanski went to the show? Oh right. Weinstein and Polanski were already expelled and Allen would never go.

Ok the person calling out pearl-clutching is drawing a direct line between “a slap is an act of violence” and racism.

I’m pretty sure that by next year, Chris Rock will have asked for them to remove the ban, and they will appear together on the Oscars in some capacity.

I have been thinking about this

My haha applies to the fact that people started calling Kanye a genius the moment Kanye told them he was a genius.

Great artist doesn’t equal good person...He’s emotionally abusing Kim Kardashian and had his staff intimidate campaign officials...after trying to help get a white supremacist’s wet dream re-elected to President.
