They were probably smarter than the crypto bros whose portfolios are down 80% and still holding on for dear life. People who steal don’t tend to hold onto things for long.

Indeed. The first film was great as long as you grade it on the DCEU curve. I totally agree that it fell apart like the Bluesmobile somewhere around the 2/3-3/4 mark, but up to that point it was (IMO) genuinely good.

After the disappointment of GOTG2 (yes, I know I’m alone in this) my hopes weren’t very high and this trailer didn’t do much to change that, but I’ve got to see Adam Warlock realized finally.

I don’t think people really knew this movie existed. If they did, there would have been a much bigger uproar from the bigots lol.

You’re right, but I don’t think stupidity is to blame. COVID greatly accelerated the “theater to streaming” pipeline, especially for animation, and studios are still playing catchup. In a few years, I’d wager that movies like this will either no longer exist, or go straight to streaming on significantly lower budgets.

Ah damn I was excited by the idea that this film features a moment where a grandparent immediately accepts the homosexuality of their grandchild. I hope there wasn’t an active campaign amongst parents encouraging people not to go. If the movie is just bad that’s fine it’s just disappointing that a film with such a

since we’re playing editor and pointing out inaccuracies:

Not a Pixar film.

I loved Moon Knight. That and Loki were my favourites, so I think this is a case of YMMV.

Yah.... it’s cool that they have been connected in some ways but wasn’t a huge critique originally that Disney are assholes for requiring MCU fans to also have a D+ subsciption if they wanna understand the narrative going forward. Wasn’t that a massive gripe at first....? Now you want more of it?

But the TV shows have mostly felt separated from the films, which is a problem from a structural standpoint.”

I think the issue is a concern for people who produce art that will be used to produce separations for printing, which generally rely on the Pantone color system for color matching to the inks used to make the prints. There is nothing that would stop you from using #0047BB in an image, but the licensing is required

Exactly. This is directly from the Peter David run of the comics.

It’s basically the land version of Freedom (freedumzz) Ship.

Hey, what could possibly go wrong? (See: The Palm artificial islands in Dubai. Currently sinking. Rising sea level damage, TBA)

That large of a barrier in a desert, they are going to need cleanup crews outside working 24/7 to take away the sand accumulation what will built up at the base of this structure.

The Kingdom makes announcements like this every few years and they never go anywhere. Last time it was that they were going to build the tallest building in the world by building a structure more than double the Burj Khalifa, then when it was pointed out how structurally unsound it would be, they said, well, no, it’s

Judging from the screenshot, it is going to be placed very near coastal wetlands. This brings up multiple issues. Coast lines tend to change over time, and what is the foundation? Building a 500 meter tall building on a foundation of sand is not a good idea.

1 - this will never be built

This is the future class war.

Egypt is doing this now by building a new capital East of Cairo that will only be accessible by the elite. This is how much the rich hates the poor.
