Diet culture is the endless cycle of going on and off a diet (could be the same diet or a different one each time) to lose weight instead of just generally eating healthy and exercising. Diet culture has been around for centuries.
Drama can work in 10 min chunks, but the writing and premise has to be tailored for the format and there is little room for error. It is doable. Over the years I’ve seen a lot of good short films under 10 min.
The quality of the content wasn’t the problem, it was the quantity. People were not willing to spend the money for so little content. You could binge all or most of their content in a weekend or watch it all at a leisurely pace over the course of a week or two.
Drew had a few wives and a husband, but it never really fit the trope. First he was briefly married to a waitress in Vegas. Then he was married to Mr. Wick so he could get a green card. While still married to Mr. Wick and shortly after getting out of a mental institution Drew married Nikki. And while married to those…
I saw the Sylvie stuff after I made my post. It will be interesting to see how they use the character.
Never give ducks bread, bagels, crackers, or other starchy products! It is very bad for them.
That character could be the big connection between the show and the Dr. Strange movie instead of multiple timeline shenanigans.
I figure Bloki is really Ast, the female looking Time-Keeper, and has been exiled (kinda like they did with the 4th time-keeper in the comics).

The acting is pretty good and sometimes you just want to see Patrick Stewart on your TV screen. The production design and FX are good. Story wise, S1 had issues, but so did S1 of TNG so I have a shred of hope moving forward. There was a potentially compelling narrative that somehow got lost from the rough outline to …
The amplification of the valid criticism in this instance does come across as manufactured by the studio to keep the conversation about movie going. I could have worded it better in the original post and have since clarified.
You have no idea about me, my family, or my social circles, so fuck off with trying to “other” people as a cheap way to discredit a view you don’t agree with.
It strikes me as intentionally provocative and extreme.
Never get a single duck. It is bad for them as they are social creatures. You want at least three of the same sex or one male per five to eight females.
As a combo pet-work animal ducks are great. You have to be ready for the mess and to give them a safe environment. It can be a lot of work, but I spoil my girls.
Nice wataboutism.
PETA can fuck right off. They are a blight on the world.
