Why does every writer on this site assume AT&T is horrible EVERYWHERE just because that's been THEIR personal experience? I live in the Philly suburbs and AT&T is rock solid here, not to mention being 3-5x faster than Verizon's 3G network.

"It's virtually guaranteed that the next iPhone will come to AT&T and Verizon at the same time (there might be some gap, but it will likely be small—after all, Apple doesn't want to hose their 100 million potential new customers)."

The Harold Miner and JR Rider contests were some of the best ones I've ever seen.

Hey all I ask is that Giz keep an open mind and wait to actually SEE SOMETHING before they say that they won't be covering them because they'll surely suck. Wait, what?

He couldn't at least give the reddit link as the source where he got this from? :/

@Liptons: No I mean the game that's literally nothing like Angry Birds. Seriously, how are they similar at all?

Fragger or GTFO.

Why does this guy seem to think he's entitled to be a part of a movie that he has literally nothing to do with? And he wants to be "thrown a bone" if there's a 3rd one because he thinks he's somehow responsible for the 2nd one? Wow, just wow.

The only negative about the pancake bites from Dunkin Donuts is how fucking disgusting they are. Seriously, I'm a guy who loves him some pancakes and sausage and I made it through exactly one of those things and threw the remaining 5 straight into the trash can.

@skiterr: I'm not talking to the theater, I'm talking to a friend WHILE finding the info about the theater. And that was just an example. Point being, there are plenty of times when being able to use data while talking is useful.

@snoopy369: Umm, put them on hold? Do you have an iPhone? That's EXACTLY my point, I can have them on speaker and find the information WHILE I'm talking to them. I've never used the hold button once on my iPhone.

Umm, I use data all the time while talking on a call.

Pretty cool, but why does this start at Level 1? The van was the first level dream, not reality. Reality was everyone sitting on the airplane with Fisher.

Wait, so this was found in a lake in California? What's NASA doing there? For the past few days I've been thinking they were going to announce that they'd found something on the Moon or Mars or something like that, the fact that they found it in a lake on Earth make it a little less exciting for me.

@Dezerus Richardson: Ugh, I wish Geohot had never said that. The *jailbreak* isn't the same for every future firmware, the *exploit* to get to that jailbreak is. We still have to wait for updated jailbreak tools every time because the locations of the required kernel patches will inevitably change from firmware to

I'm convinced that this is Apple's new norm purely to disrupt the jailbreak/unlock scene. Apple knows that the Dev Team and other groups tend not to release things when another firmware is on the horizon (so as to not give away any secrets and let Apple patch them), now it seems like they're always making the next

@triggerx: Respringing is fine, no tether needed. Plus, rebooting untethered only causes the jailbreak stuff to stop working, the phone and everything else work 100% fine. (Example - you won't be able to get into Cydia...it will close immediately until you boot tethered, but you can make calls, send texts, browse

@Runkle: You obviously haven't tried it, I did my i4 this morning and the device is 100% usable when you boot it untethered. It boots to the Springboard and everything EXCEPT the jailbreak stuff works. You can still make phone calls, send text messages, etc.

I did my i4 this morning and I would call this a "semi-tethered" jailbreak. On previous tethered jailbreaks if you rebooted the device without being tethered to a computer it went to the "Connect to iTunes" screen and was completely unusable until you tethered. However, this one is different and the device still

@mitc7930: It seems the only thing that sucks here is your understanding of the jailbreak if that's what you expected it to do.
