@kayfouroh: The GM and official are the same build, so unless Apple is changing code and not updating the build they are the same. Finding an exploit and disclosing is publicly are 2 completely different things, but like I said I know it's nitpicking. ;)

"Mere hours after iOS 4.1 became available, an iPhone Dev-Team user Pod2g found a bootrom exploit, meaning that the new update is indeed jailbreakable."

I'll start by saying I hope no one got hurt and everything but this video is absolutely priceless! The lady eating the pole and then getting swept up...the guy riding the hutch around the corner...the fat guy in the striped shirt flashing by the screen 2 or 3 times in the middle of the rush of furniture...it's like a

No one running 4.0 on a 3G is concerned with multi-player gaming anyway, they're mainly just trying to check an email or open Safari in less than 30 seconds.

"Fabulously wealth" indeed. At least that only managed to make it past the editors in 2 different places in the article. Are there any editors?

Yes, because nothing calms an agitated person like legalese in 5-point font.

Nice, just like the iPhone4 was going to have.

@dallasmay: Haha, my favorite part was where you got every detail wrong. Verizon has no cap on their FiOS service, period. Look it up.

One other thing, I bought it last night and using the volume buttons to take a picture on an iPhone4 sounds alot better than it actually works in reality. I thought it would be awesome, and it very well may be on the 3G and 3GS, but the volume buttons on the iPhone4 are actually kinda hard to press when you're

"Like with the flashlight/tethering application, Apple pulled the Camera+ app minutes after learning about this."

For me it has nothing to do with holding the phone better and everything to do with being able to take a picture while holding the phone PERFECTLY STILL. No matter how hard you try you always move the phone a bit when tapping the screen, which makes the picture slightly blurry. Night Camera (and others) get around

Breaking news, the iPad is sort of a niche device and once the novelty wears off there's not really much to do with it, especially if you also have an iPhone. Oh I know, I couldn't believe it either.

I'm sorry but there's no way to have the zoom animation shown around 0:20 and win anything. Dealbreaker.

@SeraphX2:Yeah, honestly I realize that it may be nit-picking but how does something like that get past the editors? Are they any editors?

The title of this post is sneaky accurate..."Install Flash on an iPhone 4". If it had said "Use Flash on an iPhone 4" I'd be calling BS, but yes, you can definitely install it. I've yet to find a single useful site that actually WORKS with it though.

So AJ, when you "agreed" not to run this (your words), did you tell her that agreement was for roughly 6 months?

@Live N Learn: I think he meant it's happened several times, not he had the same app running several times. But I can see the confusion in the wording.

..

Great, so you end up with a big stub and 2 wires sticking out of the bottom of the phone at all times. That's much better than plugging the wire in only when you need it and not having it stick out of the phone AT ALL TIMES.
