I saw the movie and this post still made no sense...what then?

I've often wondered how people can function with 10+ tabs open. My comfort zone is about 5 and under, anything above that and I spend more time looking for the tab that I want than it would take to just re-open it from my bookmarks.

As expected, Apple found a way to disappoint me and only offered the official Bumper in black. Why only offer 1/6 of the Bumper options if you're talking about there being shortages in the first place?

@timgray: Amen. I got kinda excited when I saw the title but quickly realized there's no way it will work on my iPhone4 with Griffin case. Someone should make a nice one that's spring loaded somehow to gently but snugly hold the phone in place. One day it shall come to be, and I will buy it.

@MayorBloomberg: Come on, what was Motorola going to say? "Yeah don't worry about that, go ahead and hack our phones!" They don't want you to root the phone, that doesn't mean they're going to actually use this. They saw it as an opportunity to do some scare mongering and maybe keep some people who are on the fence

Everyone remember, Gizmodo is moving on from the pointless Apple bashing! Except for every 3rd post, when they're not.

Alternate Title? Pot & Kettle: Why This Thread Didn't Need To Exist

Too bad they're not getting with the rest of the industry and using Webkit. IE7 as the browser core? Are they serious? Most of the people they're trying to lure will have been using iPhones and Androids for years by the time this is out and thus will be used to an awesome mobile browsing experience, almost on par

Several of your details don't seem to line up with what we all just saw...

I just want to say that I think it's cute that you guys still "live-blog" other people's live blogs now that you're not allowed in with the cool kids. :-P

@TheSonOfKrypton: Oil? Who said anything about oil? B*tch, you cooking?

Mr. Wozniak, Mr. Jobs on line 1 for you, he says it's urgent...

Everyone calm down, take a few deep breaths, and read the update on Boy Genius Report. The original DROID has the same e-fuse.

...but will you be live-blogging someone's else's blog? ;-)

It seems to me (a layman) that they put the seam between the 2 antennas at the WORST possible place on the phone. If they put it anywhere at the top (where most people never hold the phone) there would be little chance of bridging them.

Seems like a challenge to all the bored Giz readers...keep re-creating these threads as they disappear until Apple has the balls to at least say why they're removing them.

Jaadu RDP for allowing me to log in to my home PC from anywhere in the world and start a torrent downloading and have it finished and waiting for me when I get home.

@Twanzio: Also very helpful for iPhone jailbreaking as the Dev Team's software is usually OSX only. You just need OSX to build files and then you can flash them in Windows so it's perfect. I'll try it, thanks!

@ianoo: You tend to leave your iPhone in direct sunlight for long periods of time "on the go"?
